What is sold in the 7packs and 11 packs? What do you need to play the game? How do you acquire new cards? If a kid is just starting out what do they need? Thank you! I'm out of the loop! Cathy --------------------------------------------- The "Trading Card Game" cards are manufactured by Wizards of the Coast. The "Trading Cards" are manufactured by TOPPS. Just make sure that the company name on the product you buy is Wizards of the Coast and you will be certain that all of your cards are compatible. Personally I have not collected any TOPPS cards so I cannot answer many questions about them. The BEST way to get into PLAYING the card game is to purchase the "2 Player Starter Deck" that costs between $9 and $10. It is a blue box and includes 61 cards, two rule books, damage counters, and a collectible "coin" (cardboard pog actually ;-) Try to keep this deck together (don't break it apart and lose track of the cards in the rest of your collection). It plays very easy, but is still pretty good against the other pre-constructed decks that are out. Once you get the hang of the game and are ready to go "hog wild", then stick to 11-card BOOSTER packs. Boosters are the only place to find every card in the collection. Brian Brokaw
