I was wondering if I could use a switch to pull back a pokemon so i could use it's pokemon power and I was wondering if it will un parallize it. I know that if a pokemon is para, sleep, or anything else that it can't retreat, but the switch card says that it only switches a card back to the bench. Please reply as soon as posible. I'm playing a tournement and want to kick some heavy @$$. U can get me at

Switch is used to switch the active with a benched, regardless of status effects. Benching a Pokemon will end all effects also, including but not limited to, paralysis, poison, confusion, sleep, and smokescreen.
