Ratings are based
on a 1 to 5 scale.
1 being the worst. 3 ... average. 5 is the highest rating.
Because I am reviewing Crystal Guardian cards, the
ratings for Modified are DX-on, in other words, you
can't build your decks using cards before EX: Deoxys.
Modified - 2/5 - I think in terms of a "transition"
stage 1 to stage 2, it's not too bad. But you still
wouldn't want to rely on Ivysaur to win games (it
probably won't work), so 2/5 is appropriate.
Ivysuar~Okay a new set just came out with brand new
cards and we get to review IVYSAUR! YaY? Well Ivysuar is
the pre-evolution of venusuar which is my experiment
pokemon in this set because I believe him to be REALLY
GOOD! This card is just a stepping stone to get to the
big guy. I went to my pre-release on saturday and got
4th (Darn Jigglypuff)... Anyways this card was really
annoying as it could hit your bench and do a possible 3

Finally we have cards from Crystal Guardians. Today's CG
card is the Prerelease Ivysaur.
This Ivysaur is one of the best Ivysaur I've ever seen.
The attacks are great, weakness to fire is expected, 1
retreat cost is awesome, and the HP is average. If you
play Venusaur in a deck then this is the best Ivysaur to

This is a solid Stage 1, with pretty average attacks.
Stretch vine is very good allowing you to hit anyone in
the game for a solid 30 damage, which means if you put
any damage on your opponents starter, it might be in KO
range. His evolution (Venusaur) has attacks that can
force your opponent to retreat, then you attach a Memory
Berry, and use Stretch vine for another Prize. His Fire
weakness will be a problem with all the new Fire pokemon
