Today's card is Mew EX from Holon Phantoms

Just about anything could be better than the Mew we reviewed yesterday. And actually, I like this Mew EX. He has 90 HP and has the ability to use other Pokes attacks as his own. This use to be huge in Unlimited with Clefable and Ditto, but has kinda died off now. His only attack is basically useless because energy removal will put a damper in his plans. Overall, if you wanna copy attacks, stick with Ditto. He's quicker and more powerful than Mew EX. And Mew EX will cost you two prizes when he dies :-\.

Unlimited Rating 1.25/5

Mew’s weakness and retreat cost are average for a basic psychic Pokémon. The HP is low for a basic that doesn’t evolve, however.

I think Mew is a situational card. There are quite a few decks this would be awful against. Mew is not a card that you would want to base a deck on. Just keep it as a tech
against decks in which you’ll expect your opponent to have a lot of energy in play (PowBlock, VenuBliss, ParaFlora, TyraCargo, BQA, DragTrode, PMS, and MetaNite, Metro, ZRE, Scrambled Eggs or some other Electrode EX deck).

Combinations: -POW! Hand Extension. Obviously don’t send energy to illegal targets, (a common use for this card) as they will be discarded; you want the energy to stay on the Pokémon.

Unlimited: It won’t work here unless you are in a weird metagame. 1.2/5

Modified: Jumpluff is better in my opinion. It has more HP and a great Poké-Body. 2/5

Another Mew

Unlimited:
... there are a lot of better basic pokemon available here.
This one requires 2 energy and it doesn't do much damage.
1/5

Modified:
Again, this is one of the worst basic pokemon you can use. I'd rather use Emerald Shroomish.
1/5

Limited:
You can't use it here :(:(
