Pojo's Pokemon Card of the Day

Jason Klaczynski "Ness" 2006 World Champion	Nidoqueen δ Modified: Invitiation is definitely one of the strongest Poke-Powers in modified right now. Working great especially in any deck that relies on Holon's Castform for energy, it also improves deck's consistency and has a great lategame attack which works well with its power, too. A weakness to psychic is the biggest (and only) downside of this card. Modified: 4/5
Alex "Chuck" Brosseau 5th place Worlds 2006 (Also current "best looking player")	Nidoqueen δ Nidoqueen d is quite possibly the best card to come out of Dragon Frontiers. Being a Delta Pokemon, it has great synergy with the Holon Engine. It's power Invitation is almost as good as Pidgeots Quick Search, in certain decks. Vengence can also end up being an amazing attack late game. Unlimited: 2/5 Vulnerable to Energy Removal, but the Power is useful, and the attack is nice with Double Colorless Energy. Modified: 4.5/5 One of the most key cards in the format right now. Nidoqueen d improves the consistancy big time in any stage 2 setup deck. Very close to being a legit Pidgeot replacement. Limited: 4/5 Hard to get out, but obviously a game winner if you do. Invitation is amazing, and Vengence OHKOs most things.
William Hung	My reviews and ratings are for Modified only. Nidoqueen δ Modified 3/5 - I think this card is actually quite strong. However, the requirements to maximize the damage efficiently is a tad difficult overall, because if you dump away too many Pokemon, you could haunt yourself later in the game.
Muk Man	Today’s Card Of The Day is…Nidoqueen from Dragon Frontiers At first glance, the card doesn’t seam all to special, but as we look closer we see some potential. Queens poke power lets you grab any 1 pokemon, no restriction, out of your deck. Which is great if you are playing a swarm deck. She has the standard vengeance attack, but when combined with her power is very reliable. Discard voltorbs and magnetons as part of you Holon engine. And you have a quick hitting 90 damage attack. Although her HP is low, she can abuse the steel energy giving her an average hp of 120. But psychic weakness is VERY bad weaknesses to have right now, so don’t expect much from the queen this season. Combos: Any deck that benefits from more pokemon in play, Feraligatr d. comes to mind. Modified: 3/5 her psychic weakness is going to limit her use. And for three energy there are better attacks. Limited: 4/5 grabbing all you pokes is very important if you are running those 1-1-1 lines. lilgroudon	So queendom is soon to be built again, I love this card 100 hp, metal attributes, And it's Boostable In the cuurent metagame delta rules but there is some hating on this card, In the format all psychic pokemon, Mew EX, Deoxys, Gardevoir D, Gengar, even lunasol can fight this. But searching for quick pokemon all the time is cool quick set up and a quick boost good for early adn late game. Props 40 damage soon to be 90 is almost good. Can have metal reductions Searches for pokemon Boostable Slops Weakness Battle Frontiers Delta Haters Modified 3/5 pretty good Unlimited 2/5 Pidgeot Limited 3/5 Groudon Out BALLING
