Memory Berry
Modified: 2/5 - Since you're trying to take advantage of
pre-evolution attacks from stage 1 or Basic Pokemon, it is
obvious or imperative that you use this on a stage 2 Pokemon.
This tool doesn't have other Pokemon limitations, such as non-ex
Pokemon.
In order to evaluate this card properly, let's look at some a
sample stage 2 Pokemon, and see if this card works well with the
particular Pokemon.
Let's take Aggron ex from Crystal Guardians, for example.
Although you would Split Bomb occasionally, you definitely will
be using Mega Burn as its primary attack. Its pre-evolution -
Aron (Basic) from CG has Flail, which does 10x the number of
damage counters on Aron. You can take advantage of this attack
with Memory Berry both because you can't Mega Burn every turn,
and Aggron ex's high HP.
Its high HP means it is much harder to One-Hit KO, and you can
take advantage from the damage taken from your opponent's
attacks.
Nevertheless, finding a good candidate for using Memory Berry is
quite difficult. It's very rare to find a pre-evolution from a
stage 2 Pokemon that can match the damage output (including
disruption output) of the stage 2 itself. Usually Rage-like
attacks are about the best option you have for Memory Berry.
Also, Aggron ex CG doesn't need a Memory Berry to be an
effective attacker (not a must-have). A well-timed Split Bomb
will also set up One-Hit KOs with Mega Burn.
Finally, if the stage 2 in question is a non-ex Pokemon, Meteor
Falls from DX is a much better option than Memory Berry, because
it is a Stadium that can both help you and hurt your opponent
(i.e. getting rid of Battle Frontier) at the same time.

Memory Berry
Hey, I'm new to the CotD! Some of you may know me as
higumaotoshi from Pokegym, Pokebeach or Pojo forums, but
most likely, you've never heard of me
=) I'll be doing CotD's from now on, unless I get
"fired" for sucking too badly at this =O
Memory Berry:
Attach Memory Berry to 1 of your Pokémon that doesn't
already have a Pokémon
Tool attached to it. If that Pokémon is Knocked Out,
discard this card.
The Pokémon this card is attached to can use any attack
from its Basic Pokémon or its Stage 1 Evolution card.
(You still have to pay for that attack's Energy cost.)
If that Pokémon attacks, discard this card at the end
of the turn.
Memory Berry. Us old school players recall a card
similar to it called "Recall" =P. Back then, everyone
thought of using Recall for a 1 energy 90 damage attack
from a Gyarados recalling a Magikarp's Flail. Sound fun?
Unfortunately, fun is about as far as it can go, and the
new Pokemon tool version, Memory Berry, still holds the
same problems as its original did.
Unlimited: 1/5
There are much better trainers to put into decks here.
There are also cards that are more fun to use if you
want to make a random casual deck, making it
completely useless here.
Modified: 1.5/5
There could be a little more use here such as hitting
with 90-120 as a surprise with something like a
Charizard δ, but it still wouldn't be wise to waste
slots on something that won't come into play at all
during most games.
Limited: 1.5/5
Most of the time, if you get your big evolution line out
and charged, you're
going to attack with its own attacks. There's rarely
ever a situation where you'll want to use an attack from
a previous stage in Limited.

Memory Berry from Ex
Crystal Guardians.
Memory Berry is an okay card, however if I want to use a
pre-evolutions attack I think Meteor Falls would be a
better choice.

Memory Berry
Recall? This card enables a Pokémon to use an attack
that its prior forms know. This card is next to useless
because as we all know; as Pokémon evolve they get
better attack. In other words, why would you want to use
an attack from a prior stage when you have the one right
now? The only use this card has is for attacks such as
Rage or Retaliation, otherwise there are other, much
better choices if you want an effect that only the
basic/stage1 forms of a Pokémon produce.
Unlimited: Considering basics are big here…you get the
idea. No thanks. 1/5
Modified: It only has one use, and even then it's still
not that great. 1/5
Limited: I guess in this format you might want to use a
prior attack, it's also to add power to Kingler's
attack. 1.5/10
