LUGIA EX:
Working best with Dragonite d (HP) and Blaziken (PK), Lugia ex is a nice solution to high HP Pokemon like Tyranitar ex, Salamence ex, and others.

Silver Sparkle is borderline useless, and sometimes even counterproductive when returning energy to a Pokemon that is going to be knocked out next.
However, whenever Lugia ex is active, you have probably opened with it or just used Elemental Blast, and won't be following up with another one. This

makes Silver Sparkle occasionally useful.

My name is Lugia ex

Your Pokemon won’t last

I wipe out everything

With my Elemental Blast

Unlimited: Nope  ER and SER will destroy it.

Rating : 1/5

Modified: Nice card here but really depends on the Deck your playing it in. The only good deck this thing will fit in is MetaNite. Just watch out for  Psychic Pokemon after you did Elemental Blast.

Rating : 2.5/5

Limited: Sure take it 3 for 200 >_<  =  Kill everthing. You need to discard that’s a downside here but still it’s 200.

garsh0p Lugia ex

Ahh... the absolute biggest hitter in modified. There aren't really THAT many decks that can use it in the current format, but it's still a pretty scary card. After all, it's basically a guaranteed KO in almost every plausible situation.

The body isn't the greatest, but it can be useful every now and then by slowing your opponent down a turn energy-wise. Having a body makes it Zzzap-able. however.

The most obvious deck to abuse Lugia ex in is Metanite. Drop Lugia on your bench, and if you have two Dragonite d's on your bench and a Holon's Castform in your hand, you can immediately hit for 200. Some people would rather play Lati@s*, but Lugia ex seems to be a much more reliable card even though it runs the risk of giving up two prizes. This CAN work with Metagross DX, but it takes two turns so Lati@s* is probably a better choice in that deck. The return of Firestarter Blaziken in Power Keepers gives you another option. You can also try some variant of Crush Draw Tyranitar.

Psychic weakness hurts right now with Banette ex running rampant. Fighting resistance and 1 retreat are decent.

Lugia EX is ok three energies for 200 is awesome but discarding three different energies is kinda Eww...

The Pokebody is meh.. Cause more likely then not your only gonna get hit once and send an energy back to the hand.

Lugia ex-Lugia used to be HAWT I mean HOT like you could crack an egg on the card and watch it boil. Now with the rotation of LBS lugia has sizzled down a bit. At first I thought lugia was a bad card but LBS showed me how good it could actually be. Now that LBS is gone I still have hope 3 for 200 is ridiculuos and with holon's pokemon to count as energy it is incredibly easy to do. Great body and Hp and only one retreat. What is there not to like?
