OK, this would have been a GREAT Dialga in the era of
evolution, but we are now again entering the era of the
BBP (Big Basic Pokemon) with the SP Pokemon, the
Regigigas, and others……so let’s talk.
First. The Pokebody, which reads as WOW at first, only
restricts evolution of your active pokemon. You still
get to evolve the Claydol and company on your bench.
With the number of free retreat pokemon, this really
becomes a “yay, but” pokemon.
The attack, 4 for 100 with a 3 metal cost, and a discard
all metal text is way overpriced. Not like Charizard…where
Heatran can help you keep the metal. Yeah, Magnezone can
help, but this is still tough. Also, a basic with only a
4 energy attack is a waste if stuck active.
2 Retreat is not good. Weakness to fire and resistance
to psychic are good at this time, for now.
Final verdict…
Modified – 2/5 and I am being nice here.
Limited – 1/5 You start with this, and you LOSE.
