Whoo! A Fire deck. Needs some help, but still! ;p

==========
Hello There!
This is my Deck and since I have't played  for a while it might me a bit rusty....Mind you that I don't have the
latest editions and that I don't have enough money to buy more cards yet...SO I work with what I can....
I have Base, Jungle, Fossil, Rocket and Some Neo Genisis.....Well Here it goes...
Fist Of The Heavens
-----Pokemon------
2 x Growlithe (Base)
1 x Arcanine (Base)
3 x Cyndaquil Lv. 21 (NG)
2 x Quilava Lv.35 (NG)
1 x Typhlosion Lv. 55 (NG)
2 x Magmar (Fossil)
2 x Vulpix (Base)
1 x Ninetales (Base)
2 x Charmander (Rocket)
1 x Dark Charmeleon (Rocket)
-----Trainers-----
1 x Lass
3 x Plus Power
3 x Gust of Wind
4 x Potions
2 x Professor Elm
2 x Professor Oak
2 x Bills
-----Energy-----
24 x Fire Energy
The Main Stratergy play pokemon that can do enough damage to other pokemon while giving a chance of evolving my Growlithe and Cyndaquil and Vulpix to Arcanine and Quilava and Ninetales and Then on to Typhlosion while my Magmar Stalls....Basically that is my Stratergy....Any Help?
Thanks
Saif

Your deck seems to have an odd ratio of Pokémon/Trainers/Energy. Most decks that are stable have about 14-18/24-30/12-18 of each section and don't have a lot of singles . An Unlimited deck I see... Let's work.

We'll focus on the Arcanine and Typhlosion lines. So, take out the Ninetales and Dark Charmeleon line. That gives us 6 spaces already! Whoo. Add in one Growlithe and two Arcanine. They shouldn't be that hard to find because they are in the new Legendary Collection set, and they are in the Base Set as well. Now, add in one Quilava and one Typhlosion. Some stability in a Fire deck is a must. Keep the Magmars because they are just awesome setup Pokémon, which even I use to this date for several Fire decks. However, add one more in, and try to get some Neo: Genesis Cleffas or Magby because they are helpful.

For the Energy, drop 7 Fire Energy. That's it for this area. =/

For the Trainers, add in another Professor Elm and Professor Oak, and add a third Bill since they too aren't hard to find. Drop one Potion and add in 2 Switch. Try to find a Lass from someone, and add that in. For the last 3 spots, add in 3 Nightly Garbage Run. They help recycle your Pokémon that were KOed back into your deck. Now, the final deck:

Fist of the Heavens [Final Deck]

Pokémon: 18
3 Magmar (Fossil)
3 Growlithe (LC/Base)
3 Arcanine (LC/Base)
3 Cyndaquil (NG)
3 Quilava
2 Typhlosion
1 Cleffa/Magby

Energy: 17
17 Fire Energy

Trainers: 25
3 Professor Oak
3 Professor Elm
3 Bill
3 Potion
3 PlusPower
3 Gust of Wind
3 Nightly Garbage Run
2 Lass
2 Switch

Whoo! That took some time and effort, but it was worth it. Good luck with your deck.
