Psych Out! |
||
" This 'Psych Out' deck combines Psychic and Water attacks to give other Pokemon Trainers a sinking feeling! The goal of the "Psych Out" deck is to use your Psychic and Water Pokemon attacks to slow your opponent waaaaay down! Many of theBasic Pokemon in the deck have attacks that can Paralyze, Confuse, or Put to sleep your opponent's Pokemon. Don't be afraid to use Squirtle and Wartortle's withdraw attacks to stall for time. Once you have enough Pokekmon out, it's time to use Wigglytuff's "Wave" attack to devastating effect." | ||
Well, with the advent of Base Set II, it's obvious that WOTC has at least worked on making the strategy behind thier preconstructed decks a little bit better. Unfortunately, thier deck construction leaves a lot to be desired. This preconstructed deck looks as if it was designed by someone who was effected by something (probably crack) himself. Aside from almost half the deck being made up of energies, and having almost no useful trainers in it... and the fact that there are crappy Pokemon... it might be a good deck... if you'd hit your head really hard in a car accident. So, how can we make use of this rather pathetic waste of good trees? Well, we could use them as toilet paper in the event of a national emergency. Or, we could use them to light fires... ? I know... we could use this deck as liners for the litterbox when Spike brings his Vulpix over. I wonder what the game designers at WOTC were thinking when they designed this deck... I mean, they work for the gaming company... you'd think that they would know how to at least build a pretty good deck by now. |
