Lightning Bug! |
||
Use the grass and lightning Pokemon in this Lightening Bug deck to zap your opponents! The goal of the Lightning Bug deck is to evolve a large grass Pokemon and repeatedly attack with it to win! The deck uses a couple of Bills to try to draw that large Pokemon, Energy Retrievals to get the energy to power it, and Gust of wind Defender, and Chansey to help you stay alive while waiting for the big moment! |

Of course, if WOTC was smart, they would have added things like Pokemon Trader or CPU Search to the deck so that you can just go right to your big fat grassy Pokemon and play it right away... but NOOOOO... WOTC couldn't be bothered to put out more than one rare in the deck. I don't know why they think that people are stupid enough to think that this is actually well constructed. Well, first off, this reminds me a lot of Zap... but Zap on weed. Man... 4 Pikachus and some Magnemites... what a great choice of electric Pokemon... Goddess forbid that we should put any of those damned Electabuzz in the deck. As for building up that Large Pokemon, the only thing Large in this deck is the ammount that it sucks. 1 Beedril, 1 Chansey... oohhhhh . they're sooo large! They're so huuugge! Oh, I'm sooooo afraid of them... and as for trainers, I'm so worried that if I face my opponent he'll pull out that terrible switch, bill, Pokedex combo and bust me a good one... the fun thing about this deck is that even thought the Pokemon ratios suck, and there aren't really good trainers, and well, there's too much energy... you can at least use the cards as noisemakers if you clip them to the spokes of your bike tires. |
