Ok here it goes...

I get in there and get registered and all and i sit down to see if i could make any good trades.  Much to my suprise alot of kids actually had jap. cards!  I guess there mom's buyem for them (lucky them!)

I challenged a kid with my deck and we went at it.  His deck was pretty good.  It was a blackout deck (fighting and water) with some japanese cards mixed in...  On the first turn he sent out some japanese squirtle...  It was fairly good.  It had an attack for 20 damage, and I used a voltorb.  I used a potion once, and that bought time for me to get better pokemon up.  I got his squirtle to 20 hp and he recalled it.  He then killed the voltorb with the new pokemon, and i sent out the one i built up, dragonair!  I kept on goin.  I slammed his hitmonchan to death, and the hyper beamed the rest.  He got a couple good guys out, but with my gust of winds, i got some easy, and not so easy kills.  My deck was a sucess!  At the end of the match I took all my prizes and he took one.  I also had 5 fully powered pokemon ready on the bench.  Evil dragonair, 2 Raichus, Electrode, and the fossil raichu.  He had no chance...

Most of the other matches of the night worked out the same way...

There was a kid with japanese cards, and he lied about the translations.  He said that the team rockets big sister card killed all my pokemon in the play area.  I proved that it was a bunch of bs, and should have said i wanted it to be a draw (seeing as how he took 3 prizes with it)  But i was dumb and kept goin...  I killed plenty of his pokemon, including a blastoise with my zapdos, and i only had one prize left, and he beat me cause he beat my last pokemon fair...  But he wouldn't have had any prizes left if he wouldn't have cheated...  I learned my lesson for the night.  Bring translations!  Your own translations!

It was a good night overall.  The went nuts over my jap cards.  I traded a simple oddish for a ditto.  I had alot of fun.  My friend did good too.  I let him borrow 2 alakazams and some other cards.  Look for his Psyfire deck report later...
