Yay, I tried a Haybreaker deck today. I might say, it was kind of disappointing, however, I did exceptionally well. I'd like to play this deck again next week, with a few minor modifications, so keep your eyes open. ;)

As you can see, this deck uses a *ton* of energy. I'm used to having around 14-20 trainers in my deck, too. I don't really want to start playing with those evolution decks, so it's good to have all basic. Some of the pokemon like Hitmonchan, Scyther, and Hitmonlee are based off the Haymaker, which I have been used to. Anyways, when and if I re-do my Haymaker, I'm going to make sure that I include enough energy. ;)
Round 1- vs. Electric/Psychic
Interesting game, he had a Raichu and a Zapdos out for a while. I used Jynx to stall while I powered up Jynx and Hitmonlee. I killed Zapdos with Stretch Kick and Raichu with High Jump Kick. Then I took out his Gastlies with Jynx. I won the game due to prizes.
Record of 1 - 0
Round 2- vs. Psychic
This kid beat my brother when he played him the first round, so I vowed revenge. ;) His Haunter, surprisingly, was destroyed by my Hitmonchan. I then took out his Mewtwo with Jynx. He lost due to lack of basic.
Record of 2 - 0
Round 3- vs. Haymaker
I hate this kid (Not really). I had zippo energy in my first hand, and 6 trainer/1 basic. I lost due to the fact that Hitmonlee doesn't due particularly well against a Sword Dance'd Scyther.
Record of 2 - 1
Round 4- vs. ???
Didn't get to see what his deck was. I won in my second turn due to lack of basic. He had Dratini which I killed with Hitmonchan. ;)
Record of 3 - 1
Finals Round 1 - Haymaker Variant
It seems that every Haymaker I play, I always get a bad hand. Anyways, this went down to 1 prize. He used Scyther and Swords Danced him. He killed Hitmonlee. The thing that got me the most is that he only had 3 cards in his deck left. >.<
Now for this week's PROPS and SLOPS...
PROPS-
To my brother for doing so well in the tourney despite his modifyed "Body Guard" deck.
To my brother again for getting 25 Top Loaders for 2.00.
To the store owner for being lenient towards my trading for the Gym 2 and Fossil packs.
To Seth, for shooting numerous holes through a Wigglytuff card.
SLOPS-
To Seth, for shooting numerous holes through a Wigglytuff card.
Thanks alot! I'll be sure to give a new report next week. I'm aiming for that perfect report! ; )
