I have written to tell Charizard lovers out there that Charizards stink!
I mean, people are writing saying that hes a big, bad fire-breathing
Dragon. When the truth is that he sucks. Hes a stage two, which isn't
always bad, but makes it slow. He also has a weakness to water and a
resistance to fighting. The problem is that many decks are raindance
decks, which would totally destroy a Charizard deck. Second, his attack
costs four energy, which is just like most other stage 2s (Venusaur,
Machamp) but he has to discard two energies. Third, his retreat is 3,
which is also like Blastoise & Machamp, but at least they have attacks
that dont make you discard energies. I have a Charizard myself, but only
because hes worth $37, which is also stupid, why should a card that
sucks this much be $37??? The only way to fit Charizard into a deck is
to have a lot of energies, switches, and some breeders. Even then, hes
still pretty bad.
