This is a tip on using Charizard in your deck with a Venusaur.  If you
build a deck with all grass energy, then you can use Venusaur's PP to
transfer that grass energy from a benched pokemon to Charizard. You
can now use Charizard's PP of energy burn to turn all the grass
energy to fire energy. Since the PP of Venusaur can be done as often as
you like on the same turn, Charizard can be powered up to attack almost
every turn.  This last part depends on how many grass energy you have on
your benched pokemon to transfer.  Also, Charmander and Charmeloen have an
attack that uses only colorless energy therefore, they can still attack
without having any fire energy in your deck.
