Hello everyone! This is my first article for pojo.com and I think it accurately informs the viewers of this site of the new (and dangerous) fossil Magmar that is coming up. I would like to say that this Magmar is a lot better than the old one, but it won't be out until September 28, the release date of the Fossil Expansion Set. Anyway, here is the info: Name: Magmar (Level 31, Fossil version) HP: 70 (!!! Much more than the old one!) Retreat Cost: 1 (Not bad...) Element/Color: Fire! Weakness: Water (of course....) Resistance: None (I'm a bit dissapointed...) Attacks: Smokescreen, 1 Fire energy, 10 Damage. If the defending pokémon tries to attack during your opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, the Defender's attack does nothing. (A weak version of Agility, basically. But it is for a basic!!!) Smog, 2 Fire energy, 20 Damage. Flip a coin. If heads, the defender is now poisoned. (If you poison them, by your next turn, they will have suffered 40 damage!!!) Now, this Magmar cries out to me, "Fire Haymaker!" Although it lacks the powerful damage of the previous version, this Magmar makes up for it with 20 more HP. I also like the status effect attacks more anyway. Combined with Charmander, Charmeleon, and Moltres (I'm indifferent to the Charizard debate...), Magmar has strong potential. If you disagree, hate me, or would like to tell me how right I am.... Email me at the address below! "Dias Flac" (Yeah, the Star Ocean: 2nd Story one..) shawn006@yahoo.com "10 seconds....." (A nice intimidating line for younger players.... I'm not in the business of frightening them, just scrambling their 'imperfect logic'...."
