Hey, PoJo - I believe I've found the way to get around Snorlax's Pokemon Power, Thick Skinned. As most of you know, this power prevents Snorlax from being asleep, confused, paralyzed, or poisoned, but also states that the power doesn't work if he's already asleep, confused, paralyzed, or poisoned. This last sentence has confused many people: "How could he be asleep, confused, etc. when his power expressly forbids that?" There are two answers: Muk, and Sticky Gas Muk, a rare fossil card, has a power titled Chemically Changing Gas (according to Apprentice) that prevents all powers (other than his own) from working while he's in play. With Muk out, Snorlax's power would cease to work, allowing him to suffer from the effects of status attacks. Sticky Gas is a common trainer from the Team Rocket expansion set: "Until the end of your opponent's next turn, all pokemon powers cease to work." If you were to play a Sticky Gas, you could then confuse, paralyze, etc. Snorlax, because his power wouldn't be on any more. So there, I believe, is the answer to the Snorlax problem -- Happy playing! Z zluther@u.washington.edu
