Many deck now rely on a pokemon's power, or a strong evolution pokemon to power their decks. But now that fossil is released along with Muk and Aerodactyl, these decks will be practically inoperable. Aerodactyl's power that stops evolution will put an end to any deck that requires evolution. Muk's power that disables pokemon powers will horribly screw the Energy Trans and Raindance decks that are so commonly used, and rely so patheticaly on the pokemon powers that these pokemon have. I currently use a fire deck that uses basics to fend off the enemy, and Stage 1 pokemon like Rapidash, but almost every deck uses at least one evolved pokemon. Decks like this will be in for a shock when they start to see Muks come down onto Grimers, and Aerodactyls pop onto their opponents bench. Although these pokemon cannot be used in conjunction with one another, because of their powers, they will be turning up in thousands of decks. People that use evolution decks will need to give up their Blastoise and Venusaur, to perhaps be of no use to them again. At the least, they would have to add powerful basics and more gusts. I believe that the Fossil expansion will need to be saved up for, watched out for, and very annoying to people that like their Stages. Thanks for reading, Gregory Whitaker whitakergregory@hotmail.com
