please post this as a reply to deadpool's LAPRAS article...

Hey Pojo. Nice site,  keep it going.  Ok, i just wanted to point out that
lapras is good, but not very good.  People on the pojo post comments about
lapras, but i think they are exeaggerating a little bit.  Lapras I know will
help raindance a lot, but not enough.  Lapras is the metagame of mime for
raindance but that's the only thing good about it.  sure it has 80 hp and
can confuse with 2 energy but it's best attack deals only 30.  so, you say
it's against mime, but with the threat of haymaker's magmar and buzz, who
would want to put mimes anymore?

another thing, its weakness and no resistance is bad.  it's 80hp is good but
it's bye bye time when that buzz comes out and 1-hit KO's your lapras.
people might be thinking "well then if you say that, than magmar is weak to
water too!"  but it's different.  magmar is weak to water, which water is
very weak.  there is no water pokemon that can be able to do 40, not even 30
damage with 1 water and 1 colourless energy.  also, magmar's attacks all
have some kind of status change, unlike lapras' a 1/4 of a chance of your
opponent not attacking.  some other people might be thinking "well blastoise
is weak to electric too!  why dont you mock blastoise!"  well because even
if blastoise cannot attack at the first or second turn, it can raindance
energy onto itself and deal 60, with a plus power, taking out the haymaker
pokemon.  also blastoise has 100 hp and can stand a perfect thunderpunch.
that's why!
