Here's a cool combo:

Electrode's active and raticate's on the bench. an
energy's put on raticate and electrode uses buzzap to
raticate. Raticate uses hyper fang. No move that uses
1 energy can kill raticate, so he uses raticate again.
the defending pokemon dies.
