Hi Pojo, I'm writing about one of the best cards in the world: Venusaur Ok, lets take a look at both arguments: Some people think Venusaur sux cuz he's a stage two. These are the same people who praise Charizard and Blastoise for being all mighty pokemon who can do tons of damage. Hello, Venusaur is not an attacking pokemon, he is used for his awesome power: Energy Trans. Energy Trans can be used in many situations. Unlike Blastoise's rain dance, it can be used with any type pokemon, and if your playing a plant colorless deck, you'll probably have at least 6 plant energy on different pokemon at any one time. That means that any plant or colorless pokemon can be powered up in one turn and ready to attack. Plus, if a plant pokemon with 3 energy on him is going to die, just transfer all of the energy off of him and on to another pokemon. Plus, venusaur works great with pokemon center. You can fully heal any pokemon with no energy cost, by transferring all of the energy on to other pokemon before you use pokemon center. Also, since on Wizards of the Coast official rules it gives a list and says you can do as many as you like as often as you like, this means you can transfer plant energy from many hurt pokemon on to any healthy pokemon, use pokemon center to heal only the pokemon that are hurt and have no energy on them, and the put all the energy back where you want it. Venusaur also works great with exeggutor. Say you have 9 plant energy out. You transfer it all onto exeggutor and do big eggsplosion, for 0 up to 180 damage. Even getting half of that would wipe out almost any pokemon. Signing off, Greg starsofdallas@hotmail.com
