(MattJ is seen walking in a dark alley in a long darn-born trench coat. He's
walking back and forth for the camera man. Finally the camera focus' on him
and he begins)

MattJ: Let me talk to you about probably the best poor-man's staller around,
Onix.

(An Onix appears in MattJ's hand, flying from out of his trench coat)

MattJ: 90 HP, only 30 less than Chansey! Completely common, a very easy card
to get hold of and can be traded for anything. Rock Throw is 10 damage with 1
energy, same damage as Electabuzz' first attack, just no chance of parilasis.
Harden is a good attack, against a normal starter like a Machop, Ponyta etc.
it can be very effective. But wait? HITMONCHAN! Hitmonchan does 20 damage,
whoo hoo! That's one attack that does nothing with Harden. Next... 20 damage
again! Still no damage! The next 2 turns there is damage, but not enough to
kill Onix! Onix so far has defended for 4 turns! And this can be increased
very rapidly, you can keep him out there even longer with 3 cards. Potions,
Energy Removals and Defenders! They can keep Onix out for a lot longer. With
4 of each (Very unlikely but I have to say it) he could probably stay out
there for around 10 TURNS! (This is an estimate, but work it out, it's around
that mark) That is against a Hitmonchan, one of the biggest Haymaker cards
known. Rated #1 in the card rating in the Feb Issue of Pojo's Pokemon
Magazine. That 10 turns can again be increased with Alakazam's Damage Swap
might I add. So I hope I have shown you the amazing potential of this common,
though amazing card that is very good by himself, even better with ER's,
Switches, Defenders and Potions!
Until next time it's MattJ signing off.

(MattJ disappears, though Onix still floats in the air. Onix slowly fades
away with the camera, then the following message appeared)
