I used to
play a lot. Dropped out around destiny and just popped in to look round.
In the
process of re-building old decks i came across a process which ive always found
useful
in the
past.
Example
Your deck
contains 2 switches and 2 Gusts. 4 slots.
My
suggestion: 1 Gust, 1 switch and 1 double gust. 3 slots
its a
likelehood that at this point you've thought "UGH! - Singles" and
stopped reading.
If you didnt....
1 gust +
gust part of double = 2 gusts
1 switch +
switch part of double = 2 switches.
Its easy to
point out the negative aspects of this strategy. However it can be very useful,
not least
because 99% of players play multiple copies - so this is what they expect from
everyone
else. Try applying this to your gyms etc but keep multilple copies of what
counts (far
too obvious to list). IMO this strategy can:
Free up
slots for even more useful cards, keep your opponent off guard, give you
more options
and move
your deck into a more all-round area of play.
Have fuN!
