Most people don't play Base Set Charizard but I have found away to make it perfect. It might be a little hard but if you can pull it off it is very good. First, attach 2 fire energy to Charizard. Next, attach 2 Recycle energy to him. Then, use Fire Spin. Discard the 2 Recycle energy and they'll come back to your hand.
Next have the Harvest Bounty Venusaur on your bench and attach them to Charizard again. Repeat and repeat and you'll be unstoppable.
