This is somewhat of a cleaner-type deck. Arcanine is the main hitter and with
metal energy on him, he only takes 10 damage for take down and dishing out a
main 70. Being a fire type makes for a good hitter against the popular fluffing
Jumpluffs and steel types.
The other Pokémon are more for support, Electabuzz being the one to get the
first few prizes before Arcanine is powered up. Cleffa helps you get cards and
Igglypuff is there to shutdown powers from rogue decks and Freligators. Ditto
mimics the big hitters that might knock out an Arcanine and knock them out with
thier own attack.
The trainer are almost self-explanatory. Bills and Elms help you to draw cards,
especially when Cleffa is not drawn. Fisherman comes in handy during the middle
of the game. Desert burn is just a sort of last resort attack, it can really
mess up your opponent's main hitter but it only works when the opponent has one
prize. Goldberry is for healing and Town Volunteers bring back stuff. Oracle is
for searching and combos with Bill really well. The lone Traveling Sellsman can
help anyone out of a pinch, rather it be for a gold berry or that mystery plate.
