Standard (Unlimited) is why Stall Existed

It seems to me like unlimited tournaments are missing... I wonder if they
have E-Reader cards in Japan, and if they don't have them, why do they put
them in? I'm not saying it's bad, but there's a change. If unlimited came
back, maybe people who have the old cards might play in unlimited
tournaments and later in that process be encouraged to buy newer packs of
pokemon cards. What was the point of the Legendary Card Set? When I first
saw them, I thought that they were counterfeits!! Then Neo Destiny came
and ultra-rares were introduced. Unlimited players didn't want to really
buy this set because it was like a base set 3: just a mix of chosen fossil
,jungle, rocket, and, base set cards.
I heard there's an age limit to be able to play in pokemon tournaments.
I mean without the professor program or something like that. I think it
wasn't a very flexible program, so less older players are playing and
since older people liked unlimited( standard) , I guess .. unlimited is
harder to find. I think more leagues should be opened overseas
and that the age limit should be gone, and that standard should be just
as available as they were before. Because unlimited should be
respected like other ways of playing pokemon cards. So that none shall
be dominant. It gives people a wider variety of playing and gives them
more freedom. In my country, they stopped selling pokemon cards
when the movies stopped playing! I could also think of other things that
would improve pokemon. Keep the damage counters that were used in the
earlier theme decks (the stones). The metal coins can stay, since they
don't fly as far. There should also be some kind of special rubber band
that keeps a deck together and doesn't ruin the cards. In the pokemon
rulebook the reason why there are so many pokemon cards being made is
because all cards can be played. Now I think that that reason is gone.
Or a little bent. Unlimited/Standard isn't available everywhere. Maybe
not all these ideas may work, but I did buy a lot of cards. ( I have 23
decks). Some ideas should be put to practice. And if it is, it will
potentially do good. Unlimited is the problem and the solution. If
standard is limited to what it is now, other types of card
playing strategies are limited too.
- Pokemon isn't dead, it just needs to be changed.- My impression
from some pojo articles. I hope to start a local tournament. Or a league
or something, probably not official.. but maybe soon. I will move in a
year to another place in Europe. I like standard, just like I like my
deck. I like standard, because all the cards that are banned in
modified were also the same cards that people bought when pokemon was
really popular. - When people limit other people, they can sometimes
limit themselves-
We need some support and some replies so we can convince Nintendo to
make unlimited tournaments more available in other places, not only in
places the U.S. , but also in Eastern Europe.
If you still aren't convinced. E-mail me.
