Story
The youth continues his fight with Furiza and King Cold, killing the two of them instantly. With the threat to Earth gone, the youth returns to his normal form and announces that he knows when and where Gokuu will arrive. The whole Z Senshi shocked, they follow Trunks while still being suspicious. After a three hour wait, Gokuu lands on Earth just as the youth predicted.

Wanting to speak to Gokuu alone, the youth and Gokuu fly to a resonable distance from everyone else. Before he can trust Gokuu however, the youth tests his abilities by drawing his sword and attempting to kill Gokuu while they are both in their Super Saiyajin forms. Amazed by Gokuu's power, the youth reveals that his name is Trunks and he is the son of Vegeta from 20 years in the future. He has traveled through time to warn Gokuu and the others of a coming threat in the form of Androids created by Dr. Gero, a mad-scientist from the now destroyed Red Ribbon Army. With his message given and hope revived, Trunks returns to his time while everyone learns of his warning.

Coming to grips with the warning, the Z Senshi asked Gokuu how he survived the destruction of Planet Namek. Revealing how this occurred, Gokuu shows off his new technique shunkan idou (instantaneous movement). After seeing this, everyone goes on their way to train for the coming menace.

Packaging
An image of Super Saiyajin Trunks is used as the cover art this time around. The splash image again appears as well. The back cover is as it has been since the first DVD's release, screen captures with episode summaries. No extra included within the DVD.

Menu
The exact same menu is used as the previous Trunks DVD, sword cutting lights followed by Trunks slashing the screen. Navigation is very simple but the extras menu's music is so redundant and annoying that it will drive you crazy if left on too long.

English
Eric Johnson continues his excellent performance as Trunks and Sean Schemmel returns as Goku. Better than he was before, Schemmel's Goku has improved but still falls far below Nozawa's and Corlett's performances as the character.  Dialogue changes are beginning to lesson but the changes are still just as bad, especially when Kuririn puts on Muten Roshi's sunglasses *shutters*.

Japanese
Subtitles are white with a black border and are translated perfectly with the exception of one scene. After Trunks reveals that the androids have killed everyone but him, Goku states that "Just as they said, if Goku returns, maybe he can reveal some of this mystery" (the quote is not exact, but it was along those lines). The actual subtitle should have read "If you who were able to defeat Furiza and his father that easily, then these androids must be extremely powerful." (Again, the quote is not exact but along those lines). I have heard that FUNimation will be re-releasing these episodes on the Z Warriors Prepare DVD, at which time they will be fixing these problems.

Extras
Same exact extras as the previous Trunks DVD, commercials and the World of DBZ feature. Nothing that can be considered quality.

Final Thoughts
Once again, some of the most important episodes to the series are contained on this DVD. Everything you would look for in an action/drama anime is part of the three episodes on Prelude to Terror. This is a must have. Later minna!
