5.Hellsing
There aren't many out there who like this one, I can see why though. 
Hellsing is a very cool yet flawed anime. It oozes style in both story and art, but has many shortcummings in the story. Hellsing has some very nice characters like Police Girl, Integra Hellsing, Paladin Anderson and ofcourse the main man Alucard (Dracula backwards). Alucard is the most stylish character ever, just the way he sways from side to side as he walks gets me excited, he alone carries the show and is the reason I score this anime so high.

4.Neon Genesis Evangelion
  This is my first, it is special to me and many others to. I think it kind of began a new type of anime with character heavy story lines. It was very nice to see such strong characters interact, but the final movie was just a bit too much.

3.GTO
  Great Teacher Onizuka is such a great character, he does exacly what I want to see in every situation, but Onizuka himself might be the only reason I like the show.

2.Fruits Basket
  For some reason this anime appeals to me, I can't explain it. I was kind of dissapointed that neither Kyo nor Yuki ended up with Tohru, a clear winner is the missing ingredient. I also heard that males wanted Kyo to win but females preferred Yuki. Just proves girls are crazy.

1.Berserk
  After strugling through the first DVD of Berserk, I decided not to rent the rest. A few weeks later I accidently watched the second DVD with some friends and got into the story. This is such a great anime, perfect characters, great setting, and a hilarious opening song. I cannot believe I almost missed out on something so great.
