Pojo's Top 10 Anime

#10. Dragonball Z : Ah, good 'ol DBZ. Its storyline is extremely repetitive. (Face a strong enemy, get beat up, get stronger, beat them. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat.) Yet still, it has destruction on a wide scale, and a wide variety of characters. The cut episodes are childish, but the uncut are worth watching.

#9. Angel Sanctuary : This anime goes boldly where no others go. It is controversial, has SOME action, but is, for the most part, a love story where love shouldn't be. A fantastic, beautiful anime. Watch it with an open mind.

#8 : Hellsing : It's all about killing how good you can make it look. It's a fantastic action anime, guaranteed to make you want more. Shame there are aren't more episodes though.

#7. Ninja Scroll : A great movie. The series is good also. Simple storyline, following the ventures of a 'ninja for hire' , Jubei.

#6. Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children : A must see. It is ground breaking in graphics, though if you don't know the background story you may be a bit confused. Still, it is powerful.

#5. Neon Genesis Evangelion : No need for commentary here. Simply one of the greatest animes of all time.

#4 Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust : One of the best anime movies ever. Beautiful animation. What makes this so unique is that the lip sync is meant for English. A masterpiece.

#3. Berserk : A brutal anime with a brutal storyline. A very anti-hero main character, who wields a sword about 7' in length). Well laid out deep plot, keeps you hanging on until the end, though you will be disappointed at the end (very anti-climactic). Also lacks in episodes. (Only 25).

#2. Akira : This is arguably the best anime ever. The storyline is deep, the action is intense. A timeless classic, ground breaking for its time. It will never fade away. Words fail to describe this anime. Watch it if you haven't already.

#1. Naruto : This needs no introductions. If you haven't watched it, then you haven't lived. Do yourself a favour and watch it.
