What's up, Rogue Squad?! So for this week's Card of
the Day, we're going to be taking a look at the other
holos from the two new Extra Boosters that we haven't
had a chance to look at (minus Blau Dunk seeing how
that's a Sentinel), and today, we're going to take a
look at the third RRR in the Kagero pack:
Blast Bulk Dragon
Race: Flame Dragon
[AUTO](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you
have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a
«Kagerō» from your hand, and discard it] When this unit
attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do,
this unit gets [Power]+5000/[Critical]+1 until end of
[CONT](VC):During your turn, if this unit's [Critical]
is two or more, this unit gets [Power]+5000.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a
same clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)
...I definitely see this as a very underestimated card.
While the Limit Break definitely leaves more to be
desired, as it basically gives an extra Critical Trigger
at the cost of a Counterblast and dropping a card, I
personally see the real threat of this card in its
second effect where it gains an extra 5,000 Power should
you have any extra Criticals. While it may sound mundane
at first, you have to realize that this effect will kick
in the second you aquire another Critical seeing how
it's a CONT effect. In short, should you not decide to
do the Limit Break whether you decide not to or if
you're not at 4 damage yet, if you Drive Check a
Critical Trigger, it essentially becomes a 10,000 Power
boost for that one trigger. That can change a lot about
how a person would guard against this as it would make a
regular "2-to-pass" become a Critical to pass...and I
think it's safe to say that no one would want a Critical
to pass at all.
Is it better than Cruel Dragon or Nouvelle? Not really
though it would definitely be a pretty fun card to play

Blast Bulk Dragon
It’s still Extra Booster time! This week we continue
with our interesting cards from the latest batch…and
whatever the hell the last one is (?????) and first on
our list is Blast Bulk Dragon. Limit Break is to toss a
card from the hand to give him 5k and a Critical. Also,
he gains 5k if his crit rises to 2 or more.
Right, so where do you want your “Late Game Critical
sucks” stamp, Blast Bulk? And don’t try to argue with
the weak “2 to pass, but one Crit and I hit” argument.
It’s Late Game; no-one should be guarding the Vanguard
at that point anyway. And by the nature of Late Game,
he’s even worse.
Prepare to cry if you buy a box and he takes up the RRR
