Maiden of Cherry Bloom

- #BT14/041EN (R)

Date Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2014

[AUTO](VC/RC):[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (1)] When this unit's attack hits a vanguard, if you have a «Neo Nectar» vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, search your deck up to one card named "Maiden of Cherry Stone", call it to (RC) as [Rest], and shuffle your deck.

Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale.
1 being the worst.  3 ... average.  5 is the highest rating.

Ah, now if only simply getting a consistent field was all that it took to win. But this isn't before BT05 anymore, is it? Now we have more explosive gambits that laugh in the face of all the stuff you must throw away to stave off death.

She's only really useful when ridden when the VG is almost certain to hit. Because on RG it's foolish to let her hit, as is deliberately leaving somewhere open to call the new Cherry Stone. Unless you really have no good attackers left at all ever.
 2/5

You should have thrown away that silly key...

Maiden of Cherry Bloom
Because you knew in a quick second, that we'd be back to bother thee.

Okay, sorry, had a certain song in my head when I wrote these reviews this week, I put up paraphrased lyrics in my reviews.

Anyway, final card of the week is a Neo Nectar, if it hits the Vanguard, you soul blast and counter blast 1 each to search for a grade 1 unit that, if it boosts and the boosted attack hits the Vanguard, lets you search this card out.

Hooray, synergy!

However, both call to rest and neither of them are Musketeers.

It's not...  That good, but it's not horrible at the same time.  It lets you shuffle your deck, has on-hit pressure and can thin your deck down a little all at once.

So, pretty underwhelming, but not horrible.

Rating: 3/5

Coming up next, Set 15!  Oh how I've waited for this for MONTHS!
