Ratings are based
on a 1 to 5 scale.
1 - Horrible 3 - Average. 5 - Awesome
Once we had the support announced for G Booster 4,
suddenly this not being on-hit makes sense. Or at least
it would if the Angel Feather one didn't need to hit.
But anyway, Doom Brace has a once-per-turn ACT skill.
Soulblast 3 to give up to 2 rear-guards 5k power, then
if that leaves you with 2 or less soul, Soul Charge 3.
In normal Genesis, this is a cheap way to suddenly
spring those With of Frogs and Witch of Ravens you put
in the soul and power up. Outside of that? Eh, pressure
early on in something like Regalia when you Soulblast a
Hesperis and then net 3 soul back. Mostly though, you
just want it for the power and the chance to grab enough
soul to spring Yggdrasil or perhaps another shot with
Minerva. Pity what we have currently isn't a huge source
of "screw you"; you have to not Stride to really bring
pain. All Genesis have are G-Units that set up. Not that
2/3 of a Soul Saver Dragon's BAD, but it's outclassed
Neat Stride option and G Assist Fodder. Just don't go
out your way to do so unless you can't Legion though
because they lack the punch others have.
Great Angel, Doom Brace
I had to look this up, but there's only three Genesis
Strides that exist, and one of them is in G-BT-04, so
this and the Regalia one from Fighter's Collection is
all that Genesis gets unless the user wants to run Cray
Now that we got that out of the way, if you Soul Blast
3, you give a mini Soul Saver Dragon skill to up to two
rear guards for the turn, and if you don't have much in
the soul after that, Soul Charge 3. Fairly simple
and at least it gives you some offense.
Not much else to say, not like Genesis has options right
