Swift Deletor, Geali

- #G-CMB01/009EN

Date Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2015

[AUTO]:[Choose one of your other rear-guards with "Deletor" in its card name, and retire it] When this unit is placed on (VC) or (RC), if you have a vanguard with "Deletor" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose up to one of your opponent's rear-guards in the front row, retire it, your opponent chooses a card from his or her drop zone, binds it face down (vanish delete), and this unit gets [Power]+2000 until end of turn.

Moving on to the more interesting stuff, Geali is second this week. When placed on VG or RG circle, if the Vanguard's a Deletor, you retire a Deletor rear-guard to retire an opposing front-row rear-guard and vanish delete one of their drop zone cards. Then Geali gains 2k until the end of turn.

Again, 1:1 transaction for no Counterblast is fair enough and it eliminates one of the opponent's cards. But I mentioned in one of my articles that vanish delete is not a good reason to run cards like this over better stuff that can take advantage of a regular Delete. The only real mercy is that this can address problems permanently, so this along with that new 7k booster is the only one that actually works properly.

Probably the better G2 Deletor to come out this set. Doesn't say much, but anyway.

And here's some more Deletor support, to make their Alternate Win Condition go off faster.  When placed on V or R, retire one of your Deletors to retire one of your opponent's front-row rear-guards and then Vanish Delete one card from your opponent's drop zone, and this gets +2000 for the turn.

Pretty good, over-all.  Best part is, this can go off when your opponent is at grade 1.  And, if they try to rush, you can punish them for it quickly enough on your turn.

Yeah, this is a good card, very nice.
