Stealth Rogue of the Trial, Yasuie
- #G-BT10/018EN Reviewed: April 19, 2017

Shadowstitch-[AUTO](VC/RC):At the end of the battle that this unit attacked a vanguard, if the attack did not hit, draw a card, choose a card from your hand, and put it on the bottom of your deck. [AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (1)] When your G unit Stride during your turn, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose one of your units, search your deck for up to one card with the same card name as that unit, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and until end of turn, the called unit gets "Shadowstitch-[AUTO](RC):At the end of the battle that this unit attacked a vanguard, if the attack did not hit, return this unit to your hand.".

Stealth Rogue of the Trial, Yasuie

New Yasuie. Sadly Throwback Thursday exists now so I cannot pair him with new G4 Yasuie for review purposes. But anyway, this Yasuie. He has Shadowstitch, which is good on both VG and RG circle: if his attack doesn't hit, draw a card, then put a card in the hand back to the bottom of the deck. His Stride skill clones one of your units, but unlike typical Murakumo, you KEEP this clone, and for the turn the clone gets a Shadowstitch: failure to hit when it attacks bounces the clone to the hand.

First thing I notice is the lack of synergy with Homura Raider, one of the best finishers for Murakumo, which is a bit saddening. Goes well with Shibarakku Buster though as the Twin Drive or thereabouts from the other rear-guard loads Criticals on, so it's going to get blocked and proc Shadowstitch. With that said, I still prefer original Yasuie. Homura Raider becomes a lot less fiddly and for a temporary plus more can be done with the clones. Looking at Kagamijishi as an example.

Still operates on the predictability of hard plus, which isn't really anything in its favour. Use original Yasuie and use his double the clones more cleverly instead.

3/5
