[POJO] What do you like best about the PokeMon TCG?
[HS] It was very easy to learn and it is popular. I have tried playing
other TCG but they were more difficult and it wasn't popular so they
never had tournaments.
[POJO] What do you dislike about the PokeMon TCG?
[HS] Everyone runs the same deck, Haymaker. I got so tired of Haymaker
so I played a Nidoking deck it got 2nd. The only way to beat a
Haymaker is with a Haymaker so there isn't much variety.
[POJO] Do you find casual play or organized competition to be more
fun? Why?
[HS] Organized competition because you can win stuff, but if I'm
trying a new fun deck I would use that for casual play because the
only thing you can use in a tournament is a Haymaker variant.
[POJO] Where do you usually play?
[HS] At my friend's house (Phillip Boudleau #45), and at Sports Cards
2.
[POJO] How often do you participate in organized tournaments?
[HS] I usually go to tournaments on both Saturday and Sunday but
sometimes I only can make to one at Sports Cards 2.
[POJO] What was you most thrilling victory?
[HS] The most thrilling I would have to say is when I was using my
Nidoking deck against a Raindance. I got to go first we flipped over
our cards all I had was a Nidoran Male against his lone Magikarp. I
placed one grass energy on my Nidoran flipped the coin and everyone
was quiet when the coin was in the air. It landed on heads I found
that the most thrilling game.
[POJO] What was your most crushing defeat?
[HS] My most crushing defeats happen when I go undefeated in the
regular rounds and lose in the finals because all I draw is a Scyther
against a Magmar.
[POJO] Who is your toughest competition? Why?
[HS] My toughest competition is probably David O'Connor (#44) we have
only played a few times but he has beat me every time.
[POJO] What is your favorite card? Why?
[HS] My favorite card is Moltres, I have won a few games by using
Wildfire with ten energy on Moltres. Also I like Ditto because if your
facing an Electabuzz, or another strong basic like one of the
legendary birds, you can put down a Double Colorless on him and do
Thunderpunch on your first turn.
[POJO] What kind of deck to you dread having to play against?
[HS] I hate playing against Raindance. Since I use an all Fire deck, I
don't want to get stuck with Lapras with only a Magmar
[POJO] What does it mean to you to be ranked as one of the best
Pokemon TCG players in the world?
[HS] It doesn't really mean much to me, but I can't say that I don't
like being ranked that high.
[POJO] Do you play the Pokemon video game?
[HS] Yes, I have beaten Snap, Pokemon Red, and Pokemon Yellow.
[POJO] Do you watch the Pokemon Animated Series?
[HS] Sometimes if I get home from school in time.
[POJO] Do you have a collection of Pokemon toys?
[HS] NO
[POJO] Do you have a favorite card? Favorite video game character?
Favorite animated series character?
[HS] Moltres is my favorite card, Haunter is my favorite in the game,
in the series I would have to say Scyther.
