Subject: Gohan's Kick vs. Vegeta's Physical Stance / Cell Jrs ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: Metroid1112 Date: Sun, 14 Dec 2003 14:17:08 EST Hi. I have a friend who insists that Vegeta's physical stance overrules Gohan's Kick, and that it prevents people from playing the physical combat cards. I say it just stops all of them and Gohan's Kick works. Who's right? Also, can you only have three Cell Jr.'s in your deck at once, like one Cell Jr. 1 level 1, Cell Jr. 1 level 2, and Cell Jr. 2 level 1. One of each, right? Sorry, a lot of questions I know. Kind of confusing too. But if you can help, thanks a lot. ****************** The whole point of Gohan's Kick was to prevent cards like Vegeta's Physical Stance, Nappa's Physical Resistance, Nappa's Energy Aura, Frieza's Force Bubble, Super Android 13's Physical Resistance, Time is A Warrior's Tool, Vegeta's Jolting Slash, Red Back Kick, and Cell's Defense from being played at all. That and cards that end combat like EDB7, EDB6, Blue Leaving, Saiyan Truce Card, Dream Fighting, Stop!, and Nappa's Blinding Stare. So your friend is WAY off. You are correct. It stops all those types of cards, which is why Gohan's Kick is one of the most powerful cards in the game. Many energy beatdown decks even run this just because you have the ability to breakthrough the defense of a stall deck (like DB) and just plain lay the beatdown. You may have 3 copies of each Cell Jr in your deck, for a total of nine. Remember only 3 copies of each can be out at any one given time, so if your opponent has 2 Cell Jr 1 Level 1s out, you can only have 1. -- matthewlow@franceslow.com "You will not be allowed to do this to anyone else!" - Gohan --
