---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: "Daniel Teele" Hello. I mailed you before, and would like to thank you for your help again. I appreciate it. Now, I have a few questions I thought up after playing my friends recently: 1. Does Apocalyptic Battle effect each player's anger? I ask because whenever you advance a level normally, you lower your anger back to zero, but Apocalyptic Battle says nothing about resetting anger. >> Gaining levels and losing levels do not affect anger. Apocalyptic >> Battle does not change anger levels, only personality levels. << 2. Will Apocalyptic Battle effect fused personalities? Say my MP is Goku at Level 3, and my opponent's MP is Goten at level 3, and he just fused into Gotenks level 3 with his Kid Trunks ally. If I play Apocalyptic Battle, with it effect Goten, cancelling the fusion, or is Gotenks counted as the MP? I ask because this situation happened, and I was confused, since I could have used Apocalyptic Battle to lower Goten and Goku to level one, and use Goku's level one and two card effects to get back to level 3. >> First off it is impossible to fuse into Gotenks Level 3 with Kid >> Trunks as your ally if Goten is your MP. Gotenks is now the MP, and he cannot change MP levels for any reason whatsoever. I'm pretty sure on that, seeing the other levels are either in your Sensei or removed from the game. I think Goku still should be able to change. You might want to ask Score but I'm pretty sure. << 3. How debilitating is a low Power Level? I ask since I am planning on making a Broly Saiyan deck with Cell as an ally, but most of the players in the area play Goku/Majin Buu decks, and the high PL is rather intimidating. >> Who cares about stupid Power level anyway... Why Cell as an ally... Anyway, Broly has uber good cards, that's all that really matters. PL is important for cards that say if you are stronger or to deal a couple more stages with a physical. Broly can easily work around that jetting to that broke level 3 and just laying the physical beatdown. Broly is easily strong enough to take on Goku and Buu without a doubt in my mind. You can always play stuff like Dragon Ball, anger, and energy and Power level matters not. Only a few decks rely on power level. << 4. The rulebook states that to declare a Saiyan Tokui-Waza, my main personality must qualify. Does that mean my allies don't have to be one of the personalities listed? >> You can have Krillin as an ally in a Saiyan TW deck. He won't be able >> to play any Saiyan Heritage only cards though. << Thanks for any help. Joseph -- matthewlow@franceslow.com "You will not be allowed to do this to anyone else!" - Gohan --
