What if Mr. Satan really was the most powerful fighter on earth?

Well for starters he’d still be the same cocky ego-maniac he already is only he is actually justified in thinking he is superior to all. He would first win the martial arts tournament making him popular. Then he would show up to fight Cell with his two students. None of the Z fighters would expect much of them because they can’t sense their ki. Mr. Satan’s students still get beaten by Cell, but they manage to make Cell break into a sweat (they become stronger also due to the fact that they are training under the strongest person on earth).
Next Mr. Satan would enter the ring and monologue for a while and Cell expects to finish him quick. Mr. Satan then attacks Cell but instead of getting slapped into a mountain Mr. Satan just takes the slap in the face and doesn’t budge, Cell would then grasp his hand and scream, and Mr. Satan would exclaim that his body was so strong that Cell must have broken his hand trying to hurt him. Cell would then get really angry and start powering up and Mr. Satan would exclaim all the powering up light show was just some cheap trick. Cell would then use his multi-form and attack Mr. Satan in a group. Mr. Satan would explain this trick was stupid and take down all the Cells and Cell would eventually use the Kamehameha and Special Beam cannon against Mr. Satan. Mr. Satan would then respond that Cell can’t rely on these tricks to defeat him. Mr. Satan would then casually dodge the blasts, and Cell becomes even more enraged (A huge vein would be throbbing on Cell’s forehead). Mr. Satan then attacks Cell full force with a flurry of punches and kicks

Meanwhile the Z warriors would be watching completely shocked and dumbfounded. Vegeta would also have a huge vein throbbing on his forehead because a fool like Mr. Satan has become stronger than him. The TV crew would be filming every moment and singing the praises of Mr. Satan thus increasing his popularity throughout the world.

Cell (now extremely enraged and embarrassed by being beaten by Mr. Satan) flies up into the air and powers up for an earth destroying Kamehameha. Mr. Satan (unable to fly) is left down below angrily shouting at Cell to return to the ground to be destroyed. Cell then unleashes his most powerful Kamehameha and heads straight toward Mr. Satan. Mr. Satan sees that this is his opportunity to defeat Cell and hits the blast with his “Megaton Punch!” which deflects the blast straight back towards Cell destroying his body and every cell. The TV reporters catch the whole thing and then rush to interview Mr. Satan after his thrilling victory.

The Z warriors are still dumbfounded and extremely concerned that Mr. Satan is so much stronger than they had thought was possible. They then go to Kame’s lookout and wish back all who were killed by Cell, and everyone on earth give the credit for people being revived to Mr. Satan.

Since Goku and Gohan never fought Cell, Gohan would never become SS2, and Goku would have never died and become SS2 or SS3. King Kai would have never died and his planet would still exist. Goku also would have never learned how to do fusion so there would never be any Gotenks or Gojeta.

Mr. Satan would spend the next years living the high life with massive fame and fortune. His daughter Videl would become the 2nd strongest person on earth because she’d be trained by her father who is the strongest person on earth. While Gohan was being the superhero “Saiyaman” she would immediately fight him and defeat him and unmask him from the first time they meet up. He then would teach her to fly which would give her more skills to work with in battle. Then the martial arts tournament takes place….

The kids division would still be the same in the storyline. Trunks would beat Goten and then fight Mr. Satan in an exhibition match. Mr. Satan would toy with Trunks throughout the entire match (making Vegeta extremely upset). After Trunks lasts ten minutes without landing a hit on Mr. Satan, he becomes really exhausted and thinks he’s done for but Mr. Satan surprises everyone and laughs and jumps out of the ring and loses making Trunks the winner. He walks back to the locker room smiling and waving and the audience cheers for him because he was gracious enough to let the child win.

The adult tournament would take place next. Krillen would beat his fat opponent. Piccolo would forfeit against Supreme Kai. Videl would fight Spopovich and totally destroy him, but he’d keep coming back for more until she finally knocked him out of the ring making her the winner. Gohan would then fight Kibito and after a grueling match Gohan would turn super saiyan and defeat Kibito. Goku and Vegeta would fight next and there fight would be epic and last a good 3 episodes. Both then turn super saiyan and fight further. Goku is finally able to grasp hold of Vegeta in a bear hug and fly as fast as possible to the ground outside the ring, but Vegeta flips over and it appears that Goku will hit the ground first until just before impact Goku lets go and does instant transmission leaving Vegeta to hit the ground alone making Goku the winner.
Meanwhile Yamu realizes that he needs his partner in crime (Spopovich) healthy to steal energy for Babidi. He then picks him up and flies him back to Babidi’s hideout. Supreme Kai sees this and gets the Z warriors and Videl to follow him to defeat Babidi. Once they find Babidi’s spaceship Yamu and Spopovich and Kibito are killed (just like in the series). During the fight with Dabura both Videl and Piccolo are spit on (turning them into stone) and Krillen is told to go tell the others what’s going on. Then the rest of the storyline is the same concerning the fights on Babidi’s spaceship.

At the tournament the battle royal still goes on as in the actual storyline. When it is down to 18 and Mr. Satan, she tries her best to defeat him but is no match and is pummeled and knocked out of the ring making Mr. Satan the world champion yet again.

Buu is later revived and kills Dabura making Piccolo and Videl return to normal. (By now Gohan has been knocked out by Buu, and Goku has been knocked out by Vegeta [note that the Goku vs Vegeta fight ends with Vegeta totally dominating Goku because Goku never learned to reach SS2, but Vegeta was able to thanks to Babidi’s magic]). Piccolo exclaims that he can’t sense Gohan meaning that he’s dead, which causes Videl to get extremely upset and she goes after Buu. She is able to pound Buu repeatedly but he keeps bouncing back and doesn’t seem affected. She sees the futility in this and lets Vegeta fight Buu when he shows up. Piccolo meanwhile cuts Babidi in half and Videl (still angry) crushes Babidi’s skull with her boot killing him. Vegeta is getting beaten badly after a while by Buu and decides to blow himself up to destroy Buu.

Just like the series this doesn’t work and Buu lives. Buu then goes all around and does all the damage he does in the series, until Mr. Satan shows up to try and defeat him, but instead ends up making friends with him just as in the series. Because Babidi was killed earlier the whole world never knew of Buu and the damage was kept to a minimum. All the Dragonballs were gathered and wishes were made to restore everyone brought back to life killed that day (except evil doers), and all memory of Buu forgotten by those he killed.

Someone would probably go to namek to use their dragonballs to wish back Vegeta also. Gohan and Videl would probably still get married and their daughter Pan would eventually be the strongest being on earth because she is both saiyan and the grandchild of the most powerful person on earth. Pan, Buu, Mr. Satan and Videl would then continue to be the most powerful individuals on earth and the other Z fighters never again would have to worry with defending the earth.
