Machina X KOLON THE ORACLE

Sorry I missed out on the two previous CotDs, I was out with a sprained elbow. Today we have a Light Bringer card from Shadowclash, it's a shield trigger creature with a nasty but situational effect.

Kolon the Oracle is a 1 mana higher costing Miele (godly card) who does all the same things with the same power. However, with Kolon's ability to be triggered as a shield when your opponent attacks - two things happen. The creature that attacked your shield let you bring out a creature, and is now tapped. And next, another card that is not yet tapped is tapped because of Kolons attack. This ability basically stops one creature from attacking.
This could possibly save you late game, and eliminate major forces early on.
If your opponent is playing a game where they only attack with one creature and just support it, you'll find this guy is very useless, but a good haste attacker. He also taps blockers, making him useful in fire/light decks.

As a creature that isn't in your shields he is struck by all the downfalls that Miele has. Weak power, but good ability. If you don't hit this guy as a shield, he'll probably land as mana. Not cool. Miele had a sort of quickness compared to this guy though, where one goes over another.

In a tap, kill, cutter mono-light deck this guy could have his uses. Where I personally think he really shines is limited however. Being a common you could probably get 2-3 of these in a dark/light/? deck then use cards like Sarius to kill them. Pull these if you can, they are useful!

Constructed: 2.5/5.0 - I would prefer Miele, because of the cost. If you can manipulate your shields however...
Limited: 4.0/5.0 - If your playing with just Shadowclash, this guy is your light trump card. Play him.
Artwork: 3.5/4.0 - He stands on 2 hand things, which freaks me out, but he looks staunch and cool.

Knives101 Kolon, the Oracle -- Shadowclash of Blinding Night

This guy is a ST Meile that costs one more mana. If you get him as a ST then he can help stop your opponent from killing you. Hard casting this guy is a little harder than it should be, but the ST ability makes up for it. When you put this guy into play you can tap a blocker, to help your other creatures break sheilds, or attack creatures. You can tap a creature with Kolon, and then attack the tapped creature to destroy it. I wouldn't recommend Kolon in a Mono-Light deck. You've already got enough tapping with Screaming Sunburst, and Holy Awe. However in a two or three civ deck Kolon is pretty good. I think he works best in Mono-Nature since Mana Nexus can put him into the sheild zone, and Nature's mana gain can make his cost easier to deal with.
