Elk Gazarias Dragon

Gazarias Dragon. That sounds like a card that would be broken to the max! But, unfortunately, names are very deciveing.

Card Name: Gazarias Dragon
Card Type: Creature
Creature Type: Armored Dragon
Color: Fire
Summoning Cost: 5
Power: 4000
Mana Value: 1
Effect: While you have no shields, this creature gets +4000 power and has '[Double Breaker]'

Hmm......Lets just recap.

Creature Type: Armored Dragon.
Sure its an Armored Dragon. I'm sure your saying " I could use this in my Lupia deck!" Well don't. This card really isn't that useful to use at all.

Civ: Fire
The home of the double breakers and power attackers. But you must fufill certain conditions in order for this kid to boost its power.
Have no shields. Nobody wants that.

Cost: 5
If only this had 3 cost. I know this sounds stupid, but there are plenty of other cards I'd rather play on turn 5 than this.

- Explosive Fighter Ucarn xP
- Gigaberos xD
- Stonesaur!!!! =0

Effect: While you have no shields, this creature gets +4000 power and has '[Double Breaker]'

Wow!! I'd love for my creature to have +4000 power AND Double Breaker!!!!! And with old-age tecnology, we can give that effect to any creature!! It's called Magma Gazer!!! For 3 Mana, we could get the same effect as this, on any creature!!!

Get the picture? I bet little kids don't. Trade them 4 of these for a Hopeless Vortex or something.(But seriously, don't do that)

Constructed- 2/5( Just in the right deck)
Limited- 3/5( One or two couln't hurt you THAT much)
Art- 4/5(Thats about the only thing I like about this)

Sorry if my review seemed kinda negative. I'm tired. Time to hit the sac!

Christian Okay, I'm back with the second installment of questionably useful effects. Today, it's Gazarias Dragon.

Cost: 5
Race: Armored Dragon
Civilization: Fire
Type: Creature
Rules Text:
While you have no shields, this creature gets +4000 power and has "Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields)."
Flavor Text:
"My enemies never know what I'll do next. And neither do I!"
Power: 4000+
Mana Number: 1
Artist: Hikaru Ikusa
Rarity: C

Okay, it's a pretty powerful effect, but you should know I'm not a fan of effects that start out by saying,"While you have no shields...".I just think that red is supposed to rush before suffering too much shield breakage, for lack of good ST's and blockers. But if you really look at the effect, it's godly if you do have no shields.

Now red is good for rush and that's the reason I don't care for this card. There are better choices for a rush deck and if there is one thing this card does not accomplish it is rush. It is only "good" if you wait until you are out of shields. I could see it fitting into an armored dragon deck, but I believe there are better choices of those, too.

Constructed- 1/5 (No way.)

Limited- 2/5 (There really isn't a lot of usefulness in Thundercharge anyway.)

Continuing our week of wierd cards, here's another one!  I'll say this now.  He's better than monday's card.

Gazarias Dragon
Cost: 5
Civilization: FIre
Card Type: Creature
Race:  Armored Dragons
• While you have no shields, this creature gets +4000 power and has 'Double Breaker' (This creature breaks two shields).
Flavor Text: It's funny!  Read it yourself!
Power:  4000+
Mana Generated: 1
Rarity: Common
Card Number: 44/55

Go dragons!

Civilization/Race: A fire Armored Dragon.  That means he can evolve, and has all sorts of support.  The little birds, his evos, and a bunch of other cards in the next set.  Good stuff.

Cost: Five isn't too expensive.  I think he might be the cheapest Armored Dragon in the game.  Good deal.  A little much for his power level, but hey...

Power:  4000 power until you are about to die.  It's a little weak, but not TOO bad.  When his ability kicks in, he has 8000 power.  That's pretty darn strong.

Abilities: When you somehow survive your opponent's onslaught, this guy strengthens up to take them down next turn.  Hate to say it, but against a good opponent, you will RARELY get this ability off.  Most opponent's wait until they are SURE they can win in one turn.  So, useless.

Ok, now that I've reviewed these stats, let's see how they stack up.

Constructed overview: I suppose you could use him in your Armored Dragon deck, but I think you can do better.  He IS cheap evo bait, but that's the best thing he has going for him.  Most players tend to wait to attack until they can kill you in one turn (usually using Totem to prevent triggers), so you'll be dead before his ability kicks in.  I wouldn't suggest it.  2/5

Limited overview: He actually might get off his ability here, and his power level isn't TOO bad.  Not a first choice, but it's ok.  3/5

Leaving Thundercharge...
