Card Name: Dark Scaradorable
Mana Cost:
6
Civilization:
Darkness
Race:
Chimera
Card Type:
Creature
Power:
6000
Rarity:
Super Rare
Card Number:
D1/D2
Card Set:
3RIS
Card Text: Double Breaker
(This creature breaks 2 shields)
Terrifying Gaze
– When this creature enters the battle zone, choose one of your opponent√ïs shields.  This creature breaks that shield.

A level 6 6000 creature with double breaker is pretty standard.  The second ability Terrifying Gaze is what makes this card worthwhile to use.  When Dark Scaradorable enters the battle zone you choose one of your opponent√ïs shields and this creature breaks that shield.  This power is pretty useful, on turn 6 when you may only have between 1 to 3 shields left to break.

If your opponent has 3 shields left this card can really excel.  Play Dark Scaradorable on turn 6 break a shield.  Next turn attack and double break 2 shields.  Dark Scaradorable can break 3 shields in 2 turns with just 1 attack.  This card can quickly turn the game in your favor.

I like to use this card as a X2 in my mono darkness deck.  I feel 2 copies is best because you are most likely not going to need more than 1 copy per game.  Dark Scaradorable is a very good turn 6 play especially if your opponent has 3 shields.   If your opponent does not have any shields Dark Scaradorable loses some of his worth, but still has 6000 power to attack for game.

Welcome back my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters! Today we're taking a look at a darker side of Scaradorable. A key card to the early metagame of Kaijudo, Dark Scaradorable put extra pressure where it was needed. Where does she fit now? Let's take a look at this card and see just how she stacks up in a world of Dragons and Monarchs!

Name: Dark Scaradorable
Civilization:
Darkness
Type: Creature
Race:
Chimera
Level:
6
Power:
6000
Flavor Text: "Be adorable, Squeaky... now SIC 'EM!" -Allie
Rarity: Super Rare
Set Number: D1/D2 l 3RIS

Abilities:
Double Breaker
(This creature breaks 2 shields.)
Terrifying Gaze-
When this creature enters the battle zone, choose one of your opponent's shields. This creature breaks that shield.

I was a little bit shocked when I first saw Dark Scaradorable and I thought that it was too powerful. Being able to break a shield for six mana and have a Double Breaker with 6000 power just seemed like too much for the game. Looking at it now, it's not really that much of a threat as it once was. We have so many creatures that can easily dispose of Dark Scaradorable, not to mention that we have a whole new slew of spells to deal with our opponent's creatures! Let's be honest guys and girls... do you really mind your opponent breaking a shield with his effect? You could need that extra card or it could be that shield blast that you've been hoping for.

In the steady progression of the game you can apply a lot of pressure on your opponent. If you're attacking intermittently you could get rid of your opponents shields by turn 7 or 8 in most cases. In our current environment though, we have cards like Lyra and Andromeda... and let's not forget Bottle! These cards can often make this guy almost seem pointless at times but she can still put in some work.

Ratings:

Constructed: 3.25/5.00 (Can be nice to get in some extra shield damage but can be dealt with often with the shield that it breaks.)
Limited: 4.00/5.00 (One of the bigger creatures in the deck and it's likely to be sticking around for a while.)

Stop by tomorrow when we take a look at a Light/Nature card? Really? Oh well, I guess when life hands you lemons... Make sure to check out my channel for new content and until next time my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters, keep calm and game on!
