Hey there everyone! Sorry we missed you yesterday but we're coming back strong! With my birthday yesterday, I wanted to have a card that sort of embodied that feeling. So with that being said, let's get started with a new card from DragonStrike Infernus: Bottle of Wishes!

Name: Bottle of Wishes
Civilization:
Water
Type: Spell
Race:
N/A
Level:
5
Power:
N/A
Flavor Text: Sometime your wish comes true.
Rarity: Rare
Set Number: 12/55 I 6DSI

Abilities:

Shieldblast.jpgShield Blast (Instead of putting this spell into your hand from a broken shield you may cast it for free.) Shuffle your deck, then reveal the top card. If it's a non-evolution creature, put it into the battle zone. If it's a spell that is level 7 or less, cast it for free. Otherwise, put it into your hand.

This card has a ton of potential! It can be amazing when hit on a turn 2 or 3 shield break and can potentially give you one of the strongest creatures in your deck for you (if you're lucky enough or a very good deck builder). It can also cast you a spell for free essentially too, turning this card into a potential Terror Pit, Logos Scan, Tendril Grasp, or even a Skull Shatter!

I don't recommend using this card if you are running a lot of lower cost cards. Paying five mana to summon a Prickleback or to play a Comet Missile seems a bit bad, because it is. This card is meant to shine in decks that run their fair share of big creatures and spells. This is one of the cards that will be played at three copies in my "Dragon Spell" deck that I had mentioned earlier last month. Essentially if you can get away with playing a spell for five mana to get out a creature that costs five or more to play, then you've used this card effectively.

One thing that is funny about this card and will occur, is when you play it only to hit another copy of the card itself! It's even possible, but very unlikely, that you would hit another copy of this card! This card will find its way into a great deal of decks for the fact that it can give you a free creature from your deck that can potentially block or devastate your opponents field on your following turn (kind of reminds me of using a summoning trap from MTG).

I can already see people complaining about this card and it being the reason they lost. They'll say, "I got bottled!" or "He hit me with BOW and brought out Infernus on turn three!" It will happen and it will define the meta. Get this card now while you can, even with this set only being 60 cards, doesn't mean this rare won't go for five to ten bucks or even more!

Ratings:

Constructed: 4.25/5.00 (The only thing keeping this card from being perfect is the fact that most people run spells and creatures that are level four and under in their decks. It will be more likely for someone to hit a Aqua Seneschal or similar cost card. This card is heavily reliant on luck... unless you focus on higher cost creatures in your deck .)

Limited: 2.50/5.00 (A really good card, however, in limited, you only get so much of a choice that you can choose from. Odds are that you'll have weak Megabug or Rotworms or even evolutions in your packs, making this card less useful and even a waste at times. At the very least, you may be able to bring out a creature from your deck but very situational in limited play.)

I hope you all enjoyed my birthday celebration card! Make sure to check out the rest of the cards that I picked out for the week; they're super exciting! Much like Bottle of Wishes, I hope all of your wishes come true! Until next time, keep calm and game on!

Sometimes your wish comes true.”-Bottle Of Wishes Flavor Text

Hi, and welcome to Kaijudo COTD! Today’s card is one of my personal favorites, Bottle Of Wishes(希望のボトル)!

Bottle Of Wishes
Civilization: Water
Card Type: Spell
Level: 5

Card Abilities: Shield Blast (Instead of putting this spell into your hand from a broken shield, you may cast it for free.)

Shuffle your deck, then reveal the top card. If it's a non-evolution creature, put it into the battle zone. If it's a spell that is level 7 or less, cast it for free.
Otherwise, put it into your hand.

Some of you may see that this card is very similar to a card from Duel Masters called Hogan Blaster, and because of that fact I’m sure that this will become a huge hit! This card I almost guaranteed to work, and the possibilities are endless when it comes to what you can do once it come into play. You could topdeck Dracothane, or Issyl, or Andromeda, or any other card in your deck. The fact that this also indirectly gives every card in your deck Shield Blast is also very interesting! This can turn your Rusalkas into Aqua Surfers! In addition you aren’t punished if you don’t get what you want from this card due to the fact that you put the card you reveal into your hand if you choose not to use the card you got, or if you managed to either get an evo or somehow reveal a Skull Shatter. So your guaranteed to get either a free card or a free draw! However, this card has one major downside called luck. Since you shuffle your deck before revealing the top card, you have no way to know exactly what the top card is going to be! Sure you can guess what the top card is gonna be, but there is truly no way to know. This means that there’s an incredible luck factor involved with using this card. But I feel that this cards effect perfectly balances this out!

Pros: Very powerful if you topdeck certain cards
Can make every card you have a Shield Blast
Only 5 mana
Gives you a free draw if you want

Cons: Very luck driven
You might not get the card you want

My Rating: 3.50/5.00

Bottle of Wishes review:

POJO!! It is Dragonstrike Infernus week! and we are counting down the days till the set release. Thank god because I am done with Evo Fury format and ready for these new cards. First up we have a really cool card!

Bottle of Wishes
Spell
Cost 5
Water
Shield Blast (Instead of putting this spell into your hand from a broken shield, you may cast it for free.)
Shuffle your deck, then reveal the top card. If it's a non-evolution creature, put it into the battle zone. If it's a spell that is level 7 or less, cast it for free. Otherwise, put it into your hand.
Wow. So where to start. I mean the ability to net those huge cost dragons or really anything gigantic creature out as early as turn 5 is just insane. Now we are talking best case scenario here but you could have this shield break as early as turn 2 and you could get a huge creature of cast a deadly spell for nothing ridiculously early.

What's really cool though is the off chance that you miss and hit an evolution creature or a level 8 spell (which ATM is only Skull Shatter) is that you still get to put the card in your hand! This card can do nothing but generate advantage.

Summary:
Although the card is pretty self explanatory the possibilities for this card are almost endless. Time will tell how powerful this card will become. I believe the card wont get its proper use in the begining of the DSI format but i am itnerested to find out how this card will slip into decks at KMC's.

Constructed 4/5
Limited 3/5
