Hello again my fellow Kaijudo
Duel Masters! Are you guys looking forward to
today's preview card(s) that will be revealed on the
Kaijudo website? I know I'm anxious to see what the
Darkness and the Darkness/Fire Super Rares have in
store for us! Alrighty, today we have an amazing new
concept being brought into the world of Kaijudo, the
ability for creatures to battle without even having
them tap or even doing so on your opponent's turn! I
bring you today's card, Fight!
Name: Fight!
Civilization: Fire/Nature
Type:
Spell
Race: N/A
Level: 4
Power: N/A
Flavor Text:
"I can take him."
Rarity:
Rare
Set Number:
104/110 l 7CLA
Abilities:
(This card enters your mana zone tapped.)
Shield
Blast (Instead of putting this spell into your
hand from a broken shield, you may cast it for
free.)
Choose one of your creatures. It battles target
enemy creature.
Have you ever wanted to be able
to attack an opponent's creature on
their
turn? Fight! finally gives you that ability and you
don't even need to tap your creature or untap if
it's already tapped! This card happens to fall into
the Fire and Nature multi-civilization spell slot
and it has tons of potential!
This card serves as a removal
spell for the two civilizations as long as you
happen to have a bigger creature in the battle zone.
My favorite play with this card is using it with
Herald of Infernus. You can force your opponent's
creature to battle with Herald even if it's a
blocker
and since you're not directly
attacking,
I don't believe your opponent can actually block
this from occurring anyway! So you can potentially
get two giant dragons in the battle zone in the same
turn since Herald is
still able
to attack for your turn.
This just screams for you to
use cards like Infernus the Awakened and the
Immolator! You will easily take down your opponents
with this card and may even force your opponent to
keep their cards in their hand to attempt to stop
you from killing their creatures... in the meantime,
you can freely swing away at their shields.
I honestly expect this card to
see a decent amount of play, especially in decks
that thrive off of winning battle effects. I can't
wait to see what the other dual civilization cards
in this cycle do!
Ratings:
Constructed: 4.25/5.00 (A card that forces creatures to battle even
when your opponent doesn't want to and has been
keeping them untapped. Amazing when used with Herald
of Infernus in a dragon deck.)
Limited: 3.00/5.00 (It's an okay card in limited but requires you to
have a bigger creature in the battle zone which
isn't as likely to always be the case. Again, it can
still force your opponent to battle with creatures
that they normally wouldn't want to attack you
with.)
Stop out again tomorrow when we
take a look at another dual civilization card that
introduces another new mechanic into the game. Until
next time my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters, keep calm
and game on!
