The war rages on my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters and I must continue to spread knowledge and intel around the realm. Think of Pojo as your own bestiary or even a pokedex if you will! Today we're taking a closer look at one of General Skycrusher's most powerful weapons, his Volcano-Ship.

Command Center- Whenever this creature wins a battle, choose one of your other creatures. It can attack untapped creatures this turn as though they were tapped.

Skycrusher's Volcano-Ship is indeed a threatening concept. In the show this was the main weapon the Fire civilization had to fight against the Water civilization. Did I mention that it is literally a floating volcano? This card has the ability to attack untapped creatures making sure that no creature is safe in the battle zone. Whenever it wins a battle it also allows another one of your creatures to do the same thing!

With the ship being a level 9, it makes it really difficult to be playable. We already have Moorna, Gatling Dragon, and she can already do most of what the ship can for a seven mana cost. It's great that they make it so you can have another creature swing in and take down a creature too, but I really think 8000 power on a level 9 with this effect wasn't enough.

There is always the potential to put this into a deck as a tech choice, however, at nine mana it really should be more of a finisher than anything else. Often times when you play this card you'll be waiting a turn to even do anything with it. Now, it will dissuade your opponent from playing smaller creatures... at first. When you do swing in to take out a Blocker or something like that, it's very likely that they'll just go in for the revenge-kill the next turn and sink your battleship! 

Constructed: 1.75/5.00 (The mana cost is just too darn high!)
Limited: 2.00/5.00 (Amazing if you can manage to get it out, otherwise you'll just lose to a rush strategy.)
