Welcome back everyone to Pojo.com's Card of the Day! From here on out we're going to give your our "Shattered Alliances Top Ten Countdown List"! Now, just so everyone knows ahead of time, this list is a combination of others opinions and in some cases some items I did not choose. However, I am willing to review these cards regardless as they all add a unique flavor to our current metagame! Without further ado, number ten is: Blinder Beetle Prime!

Name: Blinder Beetle Prime
Civilization:
Light
Type: Evolution Creature
Race:
Enforcer
Level:
5
Power:
6000
Flavor Text: N/A
Rarity: Rare
Set Number: 2/80 l 9SHA

Abilities:
Evolution
- Put on one of your Enforcers.
Double Breaker
(This creature breaks 2 shields.)
Pulse Wave
- When this creature enters the battle zone and whenever it attacks, tap target enemy creature. (If this creature attacks, first choose what it's attacking. Then tap the target creature.)

Blinder Beetle is the first of any creatures to receive a "Prime" form but who's to say that other cards won't get this treatment in future sets? Prime is a level 5 evolution creature with a ton of support to back it up since it's an Enforcer. It also happens to have a respectable 6000 power and an ability that essentially taps two creatures the turn it enters the battle zone, should you choose to attack the same turn.

This card gives mono-light rush decks the extra push they might have needed to become further competitive. Having just about every card in that type of deck being an Enforcer, this card can easily be played on turn five to seal the game in your favor. Often times one pesky Blocker is standing in your way... or maybe two... Prime easily disposes of them and leads you the way to victory!

If you play against an Enforcer deck, it can get pretty scary not knowing when your opponent is going to drop an evolution creature on you since they have a targets at level 2, 4, 5, and 6. I can only expect to see an increase in play of Mono-Light deck types or maybe the re-emergence of Enforcers in general. This card deserves to be in the top ten spot as it will very likely shake up the upcoming KMC season.

Constructed: 4.00/5.00 (An amazing card for Light players and Enforcers alike. This card will peak players interests and may bring about new strategies for decks in the upcoming weeks of KMCs.)
Limited: 4.50/5.00 (As long as you get the right fodder that you need to bring this guy out, which isn't too hard, you will likely win the game shortly after you play him.)

Make sure to stop by again tomorrow for Number 9 on our countdown! Until next time my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters, keep calm and game on!
