Fish's Review ( Happy independence Day!)

Whoa.....too.....much.....crap....(faints). That's Masked Horror, Shadow of
Scorn in a nut shell. Let's see, 5 mana for a 1000 power creature. That's
already bad. This could have been forgiven if it had some big, bad effect. Nope.
All you get to do is discard a card at random from your opponent's hand. This
card is a poor choice, even for decks that have hand destruction as the theme.
You'd most likely be better off with Ghost Touch or Horrid Worm (details on
these cards later). It's Mana to Power +Effect ratio is way off. The best way to
use this card is as mana.
The Rules Text on this card should be, When you put this creature into the
battle zone, your opponent laughs like crazy and calls you an idiot.

Pros: ummmm... I'll try to think of some.
Cons: Power and Effect are way to bad for mana cost, Ghost Touch and Horrid Worm
do the same thing, but better.

Final Thought: 1 out of 5

Chips' Review

Today we have a horribly bad card named Masked Horror, Shadow of Scorn.
It is very bad because it takes 5 mana and it has only 1000 power and it's
effect doesn't save it from being very bad. It's effect is to choose a card from
your opponent's hand at random and discard it. The only people who play this
card are probably very new to the game of Duel Masters. This card is just that
bad

The Pros: none zero

The Cons: Everything about this card

Final Thought 1 out of 5

Onion's Review

Hey This is Onion and today we have a very uninteresting card called Masked
Horror, Shadow of Scorn
now here's what it does

Name: Masked Horror, Shadow of Scorn
Cost: 5
Race: Ghost
Civilization: Darkness
Type: Creature
Rules text:
When you put this creature into the battle zone, your opponent discards a card
at random from his hand.
Flavor Text:
Seeking to live forever, they left their bodies behind.
Power:1000
Mana Number: 1
Artist: Gyokan
Rarity: U
Collecter Number: 58
Set: Base Set

now I have two words to describe this card Ubberly Crap here's why 5 mana to
discard a card from your opponents hand and he's only a 1000 attacker this is
only good for fire wood if your desparate.
now why don't you just use Horrid Worm or Ghost Touch

Name:Horrid Worm
Cost: 3
Race Parisite Worm
Civilazation: Darkness
Type: Creature
Rules Text:
Whenever this creature attacks, your opponent discards a card at random from his
hand.
Flavor Txt:
Worms never refuse a good meal. They never refuse a bad meal either.
Power: 2000
Mana Number: 1
Artist Naoki Saito
Rarity: C
Collector Number: 30

Name: Ghost Touch
Cost: 2
Civilazation: Darkness
Type: Spell
Rules Text:
Shield trigger (When this spell is put into your hand from your shield zone,
you may cast it immediately for no cost.)
Your opponent discards a card at random from his hand.
Mana Number: 1
Artist: Soushi Hirose
Rarity: C
Collector Number: 54
Set: Base Set

now here's my logic Horrid worm has 2000 power which means two mana to cast him
but with the extra effect of discarding gave him an extra 1 mana to his casting

and Ghost Touch is 1 mana for the Shield Trigger and one for the discarding
effect
when you look at Masked what's his face he has 1000 power which gives him 1 mana
to his casting cost and the other 4 is for the discarding effect that is just
horrible eww ahhhhhhhhhhh nasty.

Pros; he's a creature and he discards, oh yah and great fire wood.
Cons: he's crap on a stick, 5 mana to cast just discards one card, waste of
trees..........

Rating: 1/5

This card is sheer crap.

Rings' Review

hello Readers, this is Rings, and the Card of the Day is Masked Horror, Shadow
of Scorn. If you guys don't know what this card means, the info is below.

Name: Masked Horror, Shadow of Scorn
Cost: 5
Race: Ghost
Civilazation: Darkness
Type: Creature
Rules Text:
When you put this creature into the battle zone, your opponent discards a card
at random from his hand.
Flavor Text:
Seeking to like forever, they left thier bodies behind.
Power: 1000
Mana Number: 1
Artist: Gyokan
Rarity: U
Collector Number: 58
Set: Base Set

Now, this card isn't the best of cards in Duelmasters, because of the fact that
it's a bit above the mana cost level, nut maybe the card gets better as we read
along. OK I don't find this card very useful, because of the fact that ghost
touch, and horrid Worm Practiticically do the same thing, so I don't really find
this card very good in a deck, most people would probably use ghost touch, or
horrid worm in their deck.

The Goods: you can destroy a card in your opponents hand.

The Bads: cost 5 tto play, horrid worm and ghost touch do the same thing, only
1000 power.

rating: 1/5
This card should nhot be played in a deck. It should only be played if you have
no other card to put in your deck. you will most likely use it as mana.
