don't over look the commons

To many of us it is easy to over look commons because their commons, but many have effects that match up to the rare and very rare cards. lets take a look at two of them one common and one rare

 Corile

Water

cost 5

Cyber Lord

 attack 2000

When you put this creature into the battle zone, choose one of your opponents creatures in the battle zone and put it on

top of his deck

Common

This is a very stable card with a nice effect but a bit of a high cost, but lets look at the next card.

for 2000 attack we pay 2 mana and then 3 for the effect

Aqua bouncer

Water

cost  6

liquid people

 1000

Blocker

When this creature is put in to the battle zone choose one of the creatures in the battle zone and return it to its owners hand

Rare

Now with this card we have a basic bounce effect that we can get for 2 from a spiral get.

As we have seen from other cards it's for every one mana we expect 1000 attack points so that's plus one to mana cost

Going off of aqua shooter it seems to cost two to have a blocker to be able to attack so plus two to mana cost.

Then if you want you can say that the blocker cost one so that's were his 6 mana cost comes from.

As you can see the cards have almost the same effect, except for one thing Corile sends the card back on top of the deck so you can control what your opponent draws and if it's and evo. creature chances are that they won't be playing it next turn (very helpful when they have a lot of mana).

In this set a lot of commons are like this one, I just hope this will help you with your deck by using cards that seem worthless but are not.
