I am a big Light player, and I really like
blockers. Some think that a
blocker deck isn't one of the greatest decks
ever
my deck seems to do very good against others. I like how the
blockers always have a good mana-power ratio, and they can attack
creatures.
I've found a cool combo for light decks, it worked pretty
well for me.
If you have a lot of blockers out (most likely high power, or
else they'd be
dead by now), and your opponenet has lots of creatures out
as well, then the
combo can eliminate most of your opponent's
creatures.
Get out a Toel, use Holy Awe, then attack the opponent's
creatures with all
your high power blockers. Then, all the blockers get
untapped, ready to
block again!
I like Holy Awe for it's ability to
allow your blockers to attack your
opponent's creatures. Toel comes in handy
for keeping your defensive wall up
after a big
onslaught.
