In-Depth Civilization Article: Darkness

I’m making an In-Depth Civilization articles for all the civilizations. This is my first review. This is my favorite civilization and specialty, the Darkness civilization.

Darkness:
Normal Creatures: Writhing Bone Ghoul; Skeleton Soldier, the Defiled

Slayers: Bone Assassin, the Ripper; Gigagiele; Creeping Plague(Gives Slayer Ability)

Blockers: Marrow Ooze, the Twister; Bloody Squito; Wandering Braineater; Gray Balloon, Shadow of Greed; Dark Raven, Shadow of Grief; Dark Clown; Night Master, Shadow of Decay

Sacrificial (Kills 1 or 2 creatures When Enters The Battle Zone): Black Feather, Shadow of Rage, Stinger Worm, Poison Worm, Gigaberos

Evolution Creatures: Chaos Worm; Ultracide Worm

Double Breakers: Zagaan, Knight of Darkness; Deathliger, Lion of Chaos; General Dark Fiend; Gigaberos

Can’t Attack: Wandering Braineater; Bloody Squito; Dark Clown

Can’t Attack Players: Gray Balloon, Shadow of Greed

If Creature Wins Battle, Destroy It: Bone Spider; Bloody Squito; Dark Clown

Creature Attacks A Player, Destroy It After The Attack: Marrow Ooze, the Twister

Creature Attacks, Destroy One Of Your Own Shields: General Dark Fiend

If Creature Goes To The Graveyard, You May Return It To Your Hand, If So, Discard A Card From Your Hand: Gigastand

Creature Enters The Battle Zone, It Destroys One Monster: Swamp Worm(Opponent Selects What Creature To Destroy); Chaos Worm

Hand Removal: Horrid Worm; Dark Titan Maginn; Masked Horror, Shadow of Scorn; Ghost Touch; Lost Soul

Creature Recovery: Amber Piercer; Gigargon; Dark Reversal

Blocker Removal: Death Smoke(When Untapped); Critical Blade

Creature Removal: Vampire Silphy; Critical Blade; Death Smoke; Terror Pit

Darkness has a good balance of cards. Creature removal, creature recovery, and hand removal. It also has good big hitters like Zagaan and Deathliger. Darkness has many creatures that have deadly effects such as Bone Assassin, the Ripper and Horrid Worm. There are only two evolution creatures in the Darkness civilization but, they are some of the most powerful evolution creatures in the game. They cost fairly cheap too. The only thing that I see wrong about the Darkness civilization is mana cost. Most of the cards are high cost. Most of them cost three mana or more. That’s the only thing I see wrong with the Darkness civilization. I’m going to write up the other civilizations in time. Hope you liked my article.
