OK I have had my cards for a few weeks now and have had a chance to play in 3 unofficial tourneys. I have place 1st twice and second once. This game is a blast, and is really easy to hold tourneys for. But there is already conflict between players saying what cards are worth playing and which are not, this list was put together by asking 20 players for their favs and reasons why they like them, as well as my personal observations.
 
10. Deathblade Beetle
 
"OK we have a double breaker creature, only costs 5 manna? wow not bad at all, especially when see that it gets a peak attack of 7000 when attacking. You can build a really fast deck around him and with a good hand you could have him on the field on turn 3 and start wiping out shields. In a nature deck he's a great card to run, and in a weenie rush he's amazing."

9.  Explosive Fighter Ucarn
 
" In my opinion your looking at the next summoned skull. 9000 attack, double breaker, for a minor 5 manna. Now you have to destroy two manna cards in the process but if you build your deck around this guy, he’s ridiculously good. A kid at my local shop runs a deck with four of these and some fast manna cards with a great result. I have already seen him with three Ucarn out at the same time. And like deathblade, if you get a good draw you can have him out on turn 3 if your running nature cards. He’s not for every fire deck but if you like him then build a deck around him and you’ll be OK."

8.  Holy Awe
 
" I hate this card. Eighty percent of all decks that I have seen are Red/White, and almost every single one of them are using four of these things. It only cost 6 manna to tap all your enemies creatures, and it has shield trigger. Now its good anytime, but its really good when its one of your shields, and usually spells doom for your opponent unless he has some good shields of his own. I cant stand attacking with my King Depthcon just to have all my blockers tapped and lose the rest of my shields. Now I run 16 cards that have shield triggers in my deck so I usually recover but its still quite annoying. This card should be used in every light deck PERIOD."

7.  Bolshack Dragon
 
"OK I know what your thinking, this is just another blue eyes white dragon with too much hype. Well in one sense your right, he is way hyped. I even heard one person say that if you have one you can beat anybody LOL. But If you use him right he can be great. Think about it, worst case you get a double breaker with 6000 attack for 6 manna, but if you run a deck that burns some of your manna off or if its just a little latter in the game this guy can be lethal, my brother has already had his hitting for 13000. Yeah that’s a blocker crusher. Overall Bolshak is an OK card that has the potential to be great if played right."

6.  Terror Pit
 
"Some people don’t agree with me on this one, but I love it. I run four in my deck. Sure you have to wait till turn six unless your running green but who cares? Late game it rocks, you can use it to send your opponents hard built army hurling into the grave, and its my absolute favorite card to have as a shield.  It good in a straight black deck and in a blue / black, but it shines in a black / red once master of destruction comes out. Teaming it up with some of the more potent red removal cards is just plain fun."

5.  Urth, Purifying Elemental
 
"How can you not see the glory of this card? I hate white cards with a passion and even I can see the beauty of this guy. 6000 attack, double breaker, and can untap itself at the end of each turn, for only 6 manna? Yeah if I was using a white deck id be running at least 2, maybe even 3. I thought he was good, but I didn’t realize how good till I took him on. He’s so freaking hard to kill. I had to resort to my spell cards each time. Urth is the bad boy of the light deck and in draft you just cant go wrong. I don’t like to use white but If I had the chance to use this guy in draft id do it without a second thought."

4.  King Depthcon
 
"This card is my absolute favorite card period. I know he’s not the best by any means but he was my first bling bling, from my first booster box, and I’ve used him ever since. How can you not love a double breaker that can’t be blocked? I mean I know that 7 manna is a bit steep for a card that can only hit for 6000, and I know that he’s definitely not the biggest dog in the fight but I like him all the same. I’m not inane enough to put him in the top 3 but since he’s my favorite he gets number four."

3.  Spiral Gate
 
"I know what you thinking. This guys an idiot. He thinks Spiral Gate is the third best english card? Well yeah, I do. Think about it. For two manna you get temporary monster removal, a good shield trigger, and another full turn of summoning sickness for your opponents creature. Id say that’s pretty darn good. My buddy runs a really fast Blue / Green deck, with four of this SOB. I cant tell you how annoying it is to attack this thing turn after turn. One time he even had 3 of them as shields…. This card is the bane of my existence, I  run two of them myself but I still hate and I mean HATE this card, but for two manna you just cant beat it."

2.  Natural Snare / Death Smoke
 
"Nobody could seem to decide this one. Death Smoke is a great card. For four manna you can wipe an untapped card into oblivion. Not bad. But Natural Snare has shield trigger. What’s that you say? It cost 6 manna? So what? Crap your monster was destroyed by Terror Pit, well then just use Dark Reversal or a monster effect to bring it back. Well with natural snare that does not work, now does it. I remembered the first time my King Depthcon got turned to manna by this thing. I was pretty surprised to say the least. It works as amazing removal in a green deck, especially if you run four of them, so not only will you be able to use them quickly cause of fast manna but also the added bonus of shield trigger."

1.  Crystal Memory
 
"You don’t think this card is great, you shouldn’t be playing this game. For a minor four manna you my search your deck for ANY card and add it to your hand, it has shield trigger and your opponent has no clue what card it is. I only run 2 in my deck but that’s just cause I have a lot of draw power. If you running any kind of water deck, id use 2 or 3, even four if you like. In draft, If you have it, then FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DRAFT IT ! Its that good. Early game you can use it to search for a card you need to set up, and late game when you have about 8 to 10 manna you can use it for massive combo potential, I often use it to search for a card and cast it the same turn. Nothing says pain like a Crystal Memory, Death Smoke, Ghost Touch combination."
